My Prince Charming

Just thought id do a little post about the lovely surprise my fiance Michael had waiting for me when I got home from work last night...

I was always the girl at school that nobody fancied or wanted to go out with.  No sympathy needed.  I always had friends but i just wasnt girlfriend material, i suppose.  I think this set me up for thinking id never go out with anyone i really liked, let alone get engaged to them.  Thats why I feel so lucky to have Michael. Hes such a kind, generous and lovely person.... and gorgeous too!

Anyway, when I got home from work last night he had put candles all outside our front door, leading into the lounge filled with candles.  He'd set our dining table up (it was previously in pieces as we've been decorating) and laid the table like we were in a restaurant and got us an Indian and served it up like we were out for dinner.  Put an album of love songs on and we had a little dance and everything! (such a rare occurance as Michael doesnt do dancing!) So sweet.  He's been working nights lately so was lovely to spend some time together.

Has anyone got any ideas for a surprise i can do for him?

  1. aww thats so cute!
if he likes football/xbox you should do an evening for him where he can play or watch it without having to do anything else apart from you fetch him snacks/drinks. he'd be in awe, seriously!

  2. Aw thats such a good idea. He's got one of those PS3 things and is a huge fan of Fifa so i think your idea may be on the cards! xxx

  3. aww thats lovely!! you should plan a day out like quad biking, rock claiming, paint balling some thing fun which he will enjoy xx

  4. OOoh nice idea, thats got me thinking, theres this Go Ape place near us thats like an out doorsy thing. Michaels ALWAYS wanted to go rock climbing too.
