Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, £11 for 2ml

If you love the wide eyed, defined and even spider lash look then Clinique's Bottom Lash Mascara is an essential for your makeup bag.  This is my third tube in the last year and I couldn't be without it, especially when I'm doing my makeup for nights out as it really opens up my eyes and gives my bottom lashes length and buildable definition that I haven't been able to achieve with any other mascara; YSL Faux Cils comes close as it is great on my bottom lashes but not quite as good as this Bottom Lash Mascara, after all, it is designed solely for bottom lashes!

The application is very precise with the teenie tiny brush and can be a little fiddly to begin with but once you get the hang of it, it's really easy to use.  I use the wand to comb through my lashes from root to tip, you can use the 'wiggle' method if you prefer as well.  It grips every lash and gets right into the corners for the ultimate wide eyed look.  It can be layered and built up for even more definition.  The Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara is very long lasting and has no fall out onto my skin.  I use my Klorane eye makeup remover to remove it with ease.

I've only ever used the black but there is also a black/brown shade for those who feel as though black looks too harsh for them.  It is available online and at Clinique counters; I buy mine from the Debenhams Clinique counter.

Have you tried Clinique's Bottom Lash Mascara?  Whats your favourite mascara for your bottom lashes?

  2. I tried it and enjoyed it but would never buy again. I feel like it dries too quickly so you have to act TOO fast if you want 2 coats or to unclump them. Great idea though and have kept the little wand to dip into other mascaras for my tricky lashes!
