Today I thought I'd share with you an outfit I wore to the Nelly High Heels Tour event in Newcastle hotspot Perdu last weekend. I made a night of it with one of my closest friends and fellow blogger Ray from Who Is She. We went out afterwards and had a fab night, its always a bit of a wild one when we get together! Keep reading to find out what we wore!
This is the Aqua Chain Print Skater Dress from AX Paris. I originally paid £35 for it which I thought was cheap especially as the material feels so expensive but it is actually on sale at the moment for £17.99- bargain! This short dress is so pretty and feminine. It is sleeveless so you can wear a little black shrug with it if you prefer to cover up your arms, I don't but some girls do and a shrug would still allow people to see how gorgeous the dress it is as it wouldn't cover you up too much. The print is a bold aqua, black, gold and white print which is absolutely gorgeous. The dress features a flattering slash neck, a pleated skirt and it pulls you in just under your bust which is the smallest part of the majority of plus sized girls and therefore very figure flattering. This dress is available in both the Curve and the regular range at AX Paris which I love as the majority of girls can wear it and enjoy it regardless of their size. The Curve is cut for a plus size figure though and pays attention to the length of the garment which is something that's important to plus size girls as their tummy and boobs can often pull an item up further making it shorter. The length of the Curve dress from shoulder to hem is 94cm whereas the one from the regular line is 82cm. Awesome work AX Paris!
