GlamGlow Facial In A Jar

Straight out of Hollywood, GlamGlow is a facial in a jar that is taking the skincare world by storm.  Designed use behind the scenes on Hollywood's entertainment, music, fashion and awards industries, GlamGlow claims to provide immediate camera ready skin for all that should be so lucky to use it.  I've been dying to try this for such a long time and I'm so pleased to have finally got my hands on it.
In my world, first impressions are everything and look at this packaging.  To receive a pot of this as a gift would make the receiver literally say wow, it is gorgeous.  Full of relevant information, sleek and incredibly A List.  So lets take a little walk down Hollywood Boulevard...

GlamGlow derives from Southern France, home to the ever so glamorous Cannes, St. Tropez and Monaco, and contains a whole host of fabulous ingredients as you would expect from a product that has travelled the globe in its making.  So lets get the slightly-boring but very important housekeeping facts out of the way; it is cruelty free which is essential in my book, natural, suitable for vegans, paraben free *goodbye nasties*, suitable for all skin types, has teaoxi release and is full of anti-oxidants which are great for reducing inflammation and alike.  Tick, tick, check, check, all the things I look for and love in a skincare product sorted and now onto the jargon that lures me into skincare products....

GlamGlow has Teaoxi, a patent pending time release technology, which delivers 'Super-Squalene' and 'EGCG Super-Antioxidants' directly into the mud from the real pieces of tea leaf contained in the mask.  It is the bits of team leaf that you can see in the mud mask and it is these bits that have an additional exfoliating effect when you apply and remove the mask.  The mask claims to provide a noticeable 3 day glow with its Skin Collagen Synthesis, leave skin noticeably soft and smooth, provide multilevel resurfacing exfoliation, tighten skin and minimise pores, absorb impurities without removing natural oils and protect the skin from free-radical damage.

To apply GlamGlow, one has to act fast as it dries pretty quickly.  Smooth on a thin layer so that your face is covered and leave it do work its magic.  The neck and decollete can also be treated with this little gem.  The mask hardens, tightens and tingles upon application and after ten minutes you'll find that it is fully dry and ready to be rinsed off.  Take a face cloth and run it under comfortably hot tap water, wring it out and then get to work polishing the mask off your face in circular motions.  The little bits of green tea in the mask will provide an extra gritty exfoliation to thoroughly polish off all of those dead skin cells leaving you with smooth, glowing skin.
I first used this on my return from my summer holiday on my sun drenched, slightly pink skin and I took a few quick snaps to show you it in action then.  It left my skin feeling very smooth, incredibly clear with tighter pores and overall my complexion was glowing.  My skin felt very clean, purified and not greasy in the slightest but it didn't feel stripped of its natural oils, it was still full of life. The GlamGlow mask literally provided instant results and whilst I will use it on a regular once a week basis to keep my skin looking and feeling great, I will also use it before big events and social occasions to give my skin that Hollywood perfected look.

I have loved using this mask and will be asking Santa for another for Christmas.  Since it is suitable for both men and women, I will definitely be using this on both mine and my fiances face in the run up to our wedding.  Hello wedding day beautiful skin!

I honestly cannot recommend this mask enough.  If you buy one product I recommend on here, make it this one.

GlamGlow is quite widely available now online and they have an official website that you can shop on too.  Personally I'd recommend heading over to FeelUnique.com where a 50ml pot will set you back £39.99.  Theres also a special edition Cure Sexy GlamGlow Mud Mask which comes in a pink pot to raise money for breast cancer.  25% of the profits from the sale of the special edition will be donated to the Pink Ribbon Foundation over a period of three months, from October to December 2012.

Have you tried GlamGlow?

  3. Hi Laura, I wanted to tell you that I took your recommendation and ordered some, it arrived this morning. I used it straight away and the stuff is pretty amazing. I didnt need to use any foundation or concealer today, my skin just looked so good, really clear and fresh. I'll definitely be using this regularly, even if it was pretty pricey. BTW, I managed to get it a bit cheaper from beautybay.com, I think it was £31 there.

    1. Hi Janine

I'm so pleased GlamGlow has worked for you. That's always the risk you run when writing a review as what works for one person doesn't always work for another but with this mask I've heard so many people rave about it and say it worked well for them that I thought it was a pretty safe bet to be so passionate about it. Like you, it made my skin really clear and fresh, I just think it is AMAZING.

Thanks for letting me know about Beauty Bay, I'll definitely check them out.

      Laura xxxx
