There are so many Argan oil hair products out there but they're all so expensive. Heard of the Original Moroccan Oil at £30.45 a pop? Yes I thought so. Well, I've been trying out a product that is a fraction of the price and works just as well, if not even better and that's the Moroccan Argan Oil Liquid Gold 100% Pure Oil from Dr Organic.
Moroccan Argan Oil Liquid Gold 100% Pure Oil
The Dr Organic Liquid Gold Pure Argan oil is a multi-action, multi-purpose product that can be used on the hair, skin, nails and lips.
Skin & Lips
The oil itself contains Argan seeds which hydrate, nourish and regenerate the skin and reduce scaring which makes it great to use on the face too, particularly if you have any scars left from blemishes. I've used this as a moisturiser on my face and lips and found it to be non greasy and hydrating which will also be down to it containing Omega 6 and 9. The Dr Organic Argan Oil is sebum regulating on oily skin so not only is it great for dry skin types that need some extra hydration but it can be used equally as effectively on oily skin. It's great for the skin on your body too as it can be used as a bath oil by pouring a small amount under the running water before getting in and relaxing in the moisturising water.
My favourite use for this Argan oil is on my hair to smooth fly aways and to condition and nourish, particularly on the ends. I find that when I apply this to my hair directly before and after blow drying, it leaves my hair free from frizz and stops the ends from looking and feeling brittle. I've also used it as a hair treatment by massaging it into my hair from root to tip and leaving it on over night before washing it out in my morning shower.
I also like to use it on my nails to help my cuticles and to promote nail growth.
This is available from Holland and Barrett in store and online for £8.99 for a 50ml bottle which is such an affordable price as you only need to apply a very small amount so it will last you for months and months. I absolutely love Dr Organic products, they're always the first shelves I scan when I go into Holland and Barrett.
