I recently attended the launch of Benefit's innovative new cheek product, Fine One One at Debenhams in Leeds with Ray. Benefit are a brand I've used for years; their great quality products with cute packaging just gets me every time.
Fine One One is a sheer, brightening colour trio that can be used on the cheeks and lips. It contains three different shades- pink champagne, sheer watermelon and soft coral which combine to give your face an instant lift, shape and pop.
There are a couple of different application methods depending on the look you would like to achieve. Both involve gliding the product up from the apple of the cheek up to the temple and then blending upwards in a circular motion with the fingertips.
For a subtle look, Fine One One should be used with the lightest shade at the top, pressed onto the apple of the cheek and rotated once before swiping up towards the temple and for a more defined look, the coral shade should be at the top with the product being rotated three times before being swiped. Fine One One is very buildable and you can really created your own individual look with it. The lightest pink champagne colour looks lovely as a highlight down the centre of the nose, on the brow bone and on the cupids bow.
Fine One One comes in easy to use retractable, twist up stick packaging that is a beautiful rose gold colour. The product itself has a cream-to-powder formula. It still looks and feels quite dewy when applied to the skin which would lead me to believe that it is suitable for both dry and oily skin types, although perhaps not very oily skin. It is really quick and easy to use, giving a beautiful, healthy sheen and pop of colour to the cheeks.
Fine One One retails for £23.50 and can be bought from all Benefit counters. Check out your nearest counter or shop online for it at Boots, Debenhams or directly from Benefit.
