Dr Organic Manuka Honey Face Mask

Regular readers of my blog will know how much of a fan I am of the Dr Organic brand.  I can't help but walk past a Holland and Barrett without popping in to pick up a new product to try.  Out of all of the ranges that Dr Organic offer, the Organic Manuka Honey line is definitely my favourite, mainly because it smells so amazing but also because the products perform so well.  Today I'm going to share with you my latest love from Dr Organic, the Organic Manuka Honey Face Mask.

This is a clay based mask containing organic manuka honey and kaolin which is rich in minerals.  Like all of the other manuka honey products I've tried, this one smells amazing.  I usually apply this at the start of my bath or shower onto warmed, slightly moist skin and I leave it to dry for around 10 minutes before polishing it off with a muslin cloth.  I feel my skin tingle slightly while the mask is drying and after polishing off the mask, I can see that my skin looks refined and clear.  The skin cells that hang around on the surface of my skin making my face look dull disappear after using this and in turn, this makes my skin appear bright, youthful and full of life which is exactly how I like my skin to look.  I have typically oily skin and I find that this masks helps to get rid of excess sebum from my pores without stripping my skin of its natural oils and making it feel tight, in fact my skin feels anything but tight after using this, positively soft and smooth to be perfectly honest!

The Dr Organic Manuka Honey Face Mask retails for £7.19 from Holland and Barrett.  I'd recommend checking out there website as there's always offers on, plus you can collect points on your Holland and Barrett loyalty card, a bit like the cards in Superdrug and Boots.

Have you tried any products from Dr Organic?  What is your favourite face mask?  I'm always open to recommendations!

  2. This mask does seem rather good. I bet it smells devine. Obviously as everyone says I love lush masks, especially Oatifix, and I like Liz Earles Clay mask. Great post :) xx
