WhatLauraWore: Loving Lace

I'd actually intended to post this fashion feature later on in the week but it received such a great response on Facebook that I decided to bring the date forward.  This is the Lace Insert Prom Dress from Simply Be and it is so beautiful, very feminine, very floaty and very pretty.  I opted for the Blush Pink shade as I thought it would form the perfect outfit for a christening I had been invited to, however it does also come in the classic black too.  The Blush Pink shade with the creamy white lace detailing definitely makes this dress look vintage inspired and the way that the material floats over the body makes the dress have a certain feminine charm.  The back of the dress features more of the lace detailing and fastens with a single button above a keyhole cut out.  The dress is elasticated at the waist which pulled me in under my bust which is flattering and makes the dress comfortable to wear.  I'm a girly girl anyway but this really made me feel so pretty wearing it.  This dress would be perfect for a christening or a wedding this spring.  It is available in sizes 12 to 32 and I'd say that it is true to size.  I'm 5ft 5" and I find that the length hits me right at the knee.

I've paired it with some shoes in a similar shade and a glitzy clutch.  This look is all about neutrals- simple and elegant, feminine and glamorous.  I love it!
