I love hearts, they're my favourite shape and I enjoy wearing them all year round because they're girlie, cute and represent love.
If it isn't hard to find heart printed items throughout the year then it certainly isn't going to be around Valentines Day. There's that many pieces to choose from that putting together my favourite three has been quite a chore.
My favourite heart shaped item of all is one that I actually received from Mr WLL for Christmas but it would make the most perfect gift for Valentines Day. The Return to Tiffany Heart Tag with Key Pendant is the most beautiful heart shaped necklace I've ever owned. It has the iconic 'please return to Tiffany and Co' wording on the front with a separate key hanging from the tag.
While anything that comes in the signature Tiffany blue box is sure to put a smile on any woman's face, this necklace is something extra special as you can have up to three characters inscribed on the reverse. As many of you know, I got married last year and my hubby had my new initials inscribed on the back of the tag. It was such a lovely touch and something that I'll treasure forever. You could get your loved ones initials or ILU for I Love You on the back, that would be sweet.
Tiffany's have a concession in some Selfridges (the one I go to is in Manchester) and you can order online direct from their website here. You need to place your order by midday on the 11th February in order to ensure delivery for the 14th.
The heart shaped gift that I would most like to receive this Valentines is the gorgeous Vivienne Westwood Heart Stud Earrings. The hearts are made up of sparkly light pink Swarovski crystals and they have a gold toned orb in the centre of each earring. These would be perfect for a girl who loves pink and sparkles.
My third heart inspired gift choice would have to be the Vintage Playing Cards 'I heart u' Mini Frame. This would make a lovely gift for either a man or a woman as it is quirky, stylish and perfect for around the home or an a desk at the office. I think that this would make an ideal present for someone who has everything; it certainly is different!
