MUST RESIST VALENTINO SHOES

There comes a time in ones life when they need to let go and for me, today is that day.

I've been harbouring a secret love for far too long and it has got to stop.

That love is for the Valentino Rockstuds.  The heels, the pumps, the flats, I love them all but it just isn't meant to be.

I have resigned myself to the fact that the chances are that I'll never own them and I'm going to have to be ok with that.  From now on, I am promising myself that I will not stalk them online anymore.

Haha lets bring things back into the real world.  The fact is I love handbags and I spend a lot of money on them but I'm just not willing to part with the same amount of money for shoes at the moment because I believe that I can still use my handbags in 40 years time but I know that wont be the case with my shoes.  If my budget changes in the future then my thoughts on that might change but at the moment, I just can't justify it.  The same with the Chanel Espadrilles.  As much as I love them, they're just a ridiculous amount of money for a pair of shoes.

I'd likely buy the flat Valentinos and I don't believe that they'd be particularly long lasting- for over £400 I'd want them to last for life through lots of wear!  I was really put off spending a lot of money on shoes after I bought a couple of pairs of Steve Madden flats that ended up being such ridiculously poor quality and although my faith is slowly being restored in footwear after my recent Michael Kors purchases (more on this to follow!), I'm not quite there yet.

For those that do have the budget, or who just like to look at a bit of shoe porn, then here are my top picks from Valentino:

Until I grow a money tree, if anyone knows of any similar alternatives to the Valentinos (alternatives, NOT FAKES) then please link me up in the comments!

  2. I would love to own a pair of Valentino flats even though they're very expensive. The heels look killer but the flats are more my style and better for my feet. Great post!

    1. I would prefer the flats too I think as I'd get more use out of them. Heels hurt my feet!! xxx

  4. I love those! Shoes with any sort of spikes or studs always catch my attention. They're a bit edgy & I love that. :)
