WhatLauraWore: Primark Crochet Fringe Waistcoat

Primark Crochet Fringe Waistcoat

If you're wanting to update your look this summer then one of the quickest ways to do that is to add something with crochet or fringe detailing to your wardrobe.

The 70s look is very in at the moment, as are boho babe touches and fringing and crochet details fit in so well with this.

This is the first summer that I've really dabbled with fringing as it wasn't a look that I particularly liked in the past whereas I've really been enjoying it this summer.  You might remember my post all about fringing that I put together recently and it seems as though many of you are giving it a chance this year too.  Times are changing girls, times are changing!

One of the best places to shop in to tick off both of these trends is Primark as they have so many different pieces to choose from.  I picked up this white crochet fringe waistcoat for a really affordable price and it serves as a great way to update my wardrobe without spending a lot of money.  I think thats pretty important when it comes to trend led pieces as I wouldn't want to be spending a lot of money on something that will have a relatively short wear time in my wardrobe.  If I don't know whether I'll still be wearing it in years to come then I don't like to invest!

I've worn this Primark waist coat quite a number of times since I showed it in this haul and I've got to say that I love the summery, boho touch it adds to an outfit.  In this post I'm wearing it with a black maxi dress but it also looks lovely over the top of a vest top and blue jeans and jean shorts.

I'm going to take this piece on holiday with me as I think it'll be great to pop on day or night.

Some other plus size fringe pieces that I love are here:

My flip flops are my super comfortable ones from the Truffle Collection at ASOS.  I have these in cream and white as well because they're just so practice, comfy and pretty looking!  I guess once you find something that you love it makes sense to buy it in other colours!

The sunglasses I'm wearing are my rose gold aviators by Michael Kors.  I believe they're the Dylan model which was out last year but they've released some new ones this year that are very similar.  You can check them out here.  I love the rose gold, it looks so flattering.
