So its Bank Holiday Monday in the UK and I'm guessing many of you may be nursing sore heads this morning, particularly if you live in the North East as it was the Tyne and Wear Derby yesterday. Sunderland won but that's all I know as I don't take much interest in football and actively turn it off when Mr WLL has it blaring in the car. Such was the case yesterday.
We exchanged gifts in the morning (hello Zoeva makeup brushes) then had a lovely day out and came home to watch Season 8 of 24 with a Lindt chocolate bunny (RIP Flopsy). This is the outfit that I wore.
Comfortable but cute, girly and put together as always. I layered up my white vest with a white waterfall cardigan and my floral scarf in a gorgeous green and blue print. I picked it out because I thought that it would add a beautiful pop of colour against the white and bring out the turquoise blue eye shadow that I'd added to my makeup look. I'm loving blues and greens right now and really want to get more wear out of them, especially the jewellery pieces that I have like my new Primark bracelet from this haul and my turquoise beaded necklace.
Although admittedly they're getting far too big now, I'm wearing my trusty denim jersey leggings which are so comfortable and my equally as comfy Uggs. These are fabulous for days out as I can walk for ages in them without my feet hurting at all.
My bag is of course my beautiful Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 in the damier azur canvas which is the ideal size for a girl about town. You can fit everything that you need inside of it and more. I'm talking my Sarah Wallet, phone, lipstick, perfume, keys, water bottle and my cardigan and scarf when I got too warm, with room to spare. I also have a Speedy 40 in the monogram canvas which I use as a hand luggage bag on trips away with my hubby and it is amazing how much fits inside, I'm assuming that's because its so roomy!
I definitely felt as though summer was on its way yesterday as it was so incredibly sunny and really quite warm! I decided to wear my rose gold sunglasses from Michael Kors that I picked up on my honeymoon last summer. I love their colour because they're more subtle than a lot of glasses but being rose gold, they still stand out. I believe they're the Dylan model which unfortunately is no longer available from what I can see online but they have an incredibly similar rose gold pair which are available here.
