The day after our wedding last year, we went to a spa to have some treatments and afternoon tea. Mr WLL treated me to a couple of Elemis products, the Spa at Home Lime and Ginger Salt Glow (buy here, review here) and the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel. These were the first products that I had tried from the brand and I really enjoyed using them. There was a gift with purchase offer on at the time and I received a lovely makeup bag with some deluxe sized samples inside.
We started a bit of a tradition that day as when we celebrated our first wedding anniversary this month, we went back to the same spa, had some treatments and I was again treated to a couple of products. Today I wanted to share those with you.
The first product that I got was the Elemis Skin Nourishing Milk Bath. I picked this out because our hotel room had an absolutely fabulous bath in it that was so incredibly comfortable and I really wanted to relax in it with something softening on my skin.
I'll be doing a full review of this soon but it is essentially a bath milk that you can either apply directly to your skin or to the water, before soaking in the bath. It smells incredible and reminds me of holidays which was what attracted me to the product when I was looking at all of the testers in the spa!
The second product that I got was the Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser which comes with a lovely towelling face cloth inside the box. This is an anti-ageing cleanser that is designed to moisturise the skin as well as clean it. I really enjoy removing my makeup and cleaning my skin with a cream cleanser because I find it to be the quickest and most effective way at thoroughly cleaning my skin. I'm currently using the No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser which I have used several bottles of over the last few years but when I have used up the bottle that I am currently using, I would quite like to try a different cream cleanser, purely to see how they compare which is why I chose this one.
When I was at the spa, there was another deal on where if you bought two Elemis products, one of which had to be from the anti-ageing skincare line, then you got a free gift. This gift with purchase is also available online from Feel Unique when you spend over £80, which is great because they're often limited to spa stockists only and it is such a good deal as the free gift is worth £41.
I love shopping online because you can usually get items for a lower price than you would do in a store, you can see the full selection of products (there was a couple of Elemis things that I wanted to try at the spa but they didn't have them and if I'd been online I could have just searched on another website) and there's often free delivery available which is much cheaper than driving to a shopping centre and paying to park! If you're ever placing an order online, I'd recommend checking out a voucher code website first incase you could get your order for even cheaper.
On the other hand, the great thing about buying products like this in a spa is that you can try the testers first to get a good idea of whether you are likely to enjoy the product or not. While I bought these items in a spa, now that I know that Elemis are a brand that I definitely like, I would definitely repurchase my fave Elemis products online. The gifts with purchase are a very good way to try out more Elemis products to see whether you like them before committing to the full size.
The Elemis Nourishing Hydra Boost Gift contains five deluxe samples, all housed in a gorgeous white bag with a lilac zip. I'm going on holiday soon and I am hoping my electrical chargers will fit inside this little case as it'll be handy to keep them all together.
The gift with purchase contains the new Elemis British Botanicals Shower Cream which I have heard is very nourishing and smells amazing, the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm that I will use but I'm not too bothered about as I prefer cream cleansers, the Gentle Rose Exfoliator and the Hydra-Boost Day Cream.
