Have you ever used a product and genuinely had no idea whether its working or not? Well that's what I have experiences with the This Works Clean Skin Refining Toner that claims to instantly refresh the skin while having a rejuvenating effect for smoother, more luminous skin.
This is a highly concentrated spray toner that contains lots of pore-refining, brightening and anti-inflammatory ingredients. It uses the soothing yet astringent Velvet Flower blended with amino acids to help to fight age spots and it has Malachite which acts as a mineral source for stressed skin and has regenerating properties.
I bought this toner months and months ago and I've been using it ever since as the step following my cleanse and before adding my serum and moisturiser. It feels incredibly refreshing on the skin, I'll give it that.
It can also be used to spray onto the skin at any time of the day to refresh the skin. I only tend to do this when I'm having makeup free days but I can imagine it being useful for those who prefer their makeup to have a dewy appearance.
My favourite thing about this product is how refreshing it feels when sprayed directly onto my face which is probably why I have continued using it all of this time. Aside from the refreshing feeling and light herbal scent, I haven't noticed any other benefits, especially skincare benefits, since using it and it wasn't cheap either at nearly £20. I'm sure there are much more affordable products out there that would give a more toning effect on the skin than this one does. I haven't noticed it helping my pores or brightening my skin.
I'd love to know if you've used this product and had better results than I have as skincare is very personal and what works for one may not work for another.
