BEAUTY CROWD | Freedom Pro Blush Palette Review

Freedom Pro Blush Palette in Peach and Baked Review and Swatches

Freedom Makeup London launched recently and we all know by now that I'm utterly in love with their collection.

Finding superb quality makeup in a vast range of colours and a low, very affordable price is harder than it seems and Freedom tick all the right boxes for me.

Today, I'm reviewing the Pro Blush Palette that you can find here on one my favourite makeup websites, Beauty Crowd.  They have such a huge range of Freedom products as well as lots of different beauty bits and pieces from brands that are often hard to get in the UK, at least for a reasonable price!

The Freedom Pro Blush Palette is available in three different colour-ways; a palette of pinks, a palette of bronze shades and the one that I have which is called Peach and Baked.

I know, I know.  Its a beauty isn't it?!  From the sleek, black glossy packaging to the gorgeous selection of blushes inside, it is easily one of my favourite palettes in my collection.

The Peach & Baked Pro Blush Palette combines 8 different shades that are designed to highlight, contour and sculpt your cheeks to your desired look whether you're looking for something deep and sexy or light and angelic.  There's a great mix of peach and coral shades, some with pink and rose tones in them, in the palette with formulas ranging from matte through to shimmer.  While in the palette, the two very shimmery shades in the middle actually remind me, looks wise, of the way the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes set in the pan.

The great thing about the blushes in the Freedom Pro Blush Palette is that they're all incredibly pigmented and exceptionally easy to blend.  In fact, they're so highly pigmented that you need a very light hand to apply them as you can easily overload the brush and apply too much product.

Each shade can be worn alone or I have even found that using one of the matte shades on my cheeks and then blending one of the very shimmery shades into it on the higher points of my cheek bones can work really well for a highlighted, more illuminated look.

The blushes feel soft and buttery to the touch and have next to no fall out.  Once applied, they last all day, even on my super oily skin, and are just as vibrant at the end of the day as they are when I first applied them.

I'm wearing two of the blush shades on the left hand side of palette (the top and the next one down) blended together on the photograph below and I love the effect that it gives.

I remember spending a lot of money on a Nars blush palette (similar here and here) a couple of years ago thinking that it would be great for travel and while it is very good, I do find myself taking extra blush shades with me whereas this Freedom palette gives me far more options than the Nars palette ever could.  For my next two week trip, I think I'll definitely pick this palette to take with me so that I can create lots of different looks while I'm away.

I'd highly recommend the Freedom Pro Blush Palette, especially as it is so affordable.

What Freedom makeup products would you recommend to me?

  7. A lot of these shades are really pretty and something I would wear, daily. Thanks for letting me know about going light on the brush. That saves product and makes it last a little longer for me to enjoy!

  14. I've shamefully not tried any Freedom make-up... yet. I really need too. This palette looks lovely, with only three or four blushes in my collection I definitely have a good excuse to buy it, right? You look glowing as always Laura!
