When it came to putting together my 5 New Drugstore Finds post earlier this month, I spent a lot of time searching through the shelves of Boots to find the goodies that I wanted to try out and feature.
However, I didn't just pick up the 5 things that I needed for my makeup blog post; whoever just goes into Boots and comes out with only what they went in for? In my defence, these are all items that I did actually need and I wanted to share them with you today.
Starting with the Boots Cotton Wool Double Woven Oval Pads which I love to use with my micellar water to take my makeup off. I love using the large oval ones as I find that I use far less than the smaller cotton rounds. They had an offer on them which is why I picked up two of them. These pads are good as they have two different textures on them which makes them ideal for taking off nail polish or for use on the face to remove makeup and cleansing products. These aren't my favourite ones as I do prefer the ones that I posted about here, which are my most repurchased beauty item, but they do the job and I have no complaints!
Aside from the cotton pads, another product that I repurchase time and time again is dry shampoo and I always buy Batiste. I'm very loyal to it as I really think that it is the most effect dry shampoo on the market for super oily haired girls like me! This time, I bought the larger size as they're extra value for money. I picked out the Batiste Blush fragrance which has a fun, flirty and floral scent. This large can will last me ages and for only £4.99 it is definitely a bargain.
Mr WLL and I have just booked a holiday to Mauritius for the winter time so when I spotted the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in a travel size which was on offer for £1 (think it is usually £1.99), I thought it would be the ideal size to take away with me. I'm sure 125ml should be more than enough to for a few weeks of use. I haven't used this particularly micellar water before but I have tried lots of different brands and to be honest, I think that they're all much of a muchness so I'm sure I'll like this one.
Lastly, I got the Bourjois Maxi Delight Bronzer which was actually a free gift. As I mentioned in the 5 New Drugstore Finds post, I bought two Seventeen items and was supposed to get a free gift from them but they didn't have any left so the sales assistant gave me this bronzer instead. Bit of a score when it retails for £8.99 and its actually really good. I'll be doing a full review on this very soon.
You can pick up all of your favourite beauty bits from Boots online and in store.
