When I think about autumn, I always think about how much fun it is to revisit some long-forgotten favourites in my wardrobe. It's always a great feeling to put on that lovely thick woollen coat and scarf to go out and explore the wonderful autumn colours.
But autumn also is something of a party season with lots of special occasions to look forward to. So I thought I'd make a quick list of some fun looks for different occasions over the next few months!
Girls night out
Autumn is a great time to get out and about on the town with a few of your best friends. Something about the nights getting darker earlier always makes a night out more exciting.
And similarly, getting a few of your best friends together is the perfect excuse to make your hair as big as possible, apply lots of make-up, and go for that glamorous and chic look with some stunning black satin, dazzling sequinned dresses, and of course a lot of accessories!
Another great way to spend an autumn evening is to escape the cold and live it up at a casino. It's truly the perfect occasion to bling-it-up to the max with some sultry eye make-up as well as exotic touches such as Selena Gomez's wonderfully chic hat that's perfectly suited for the cooler months.
Many people are finding casinos are a great alternative to the usual night out, and even if you're a little rusty on the gaming table, try these step by step instructions for blackjack from Fortune Palace and you'll be queen of the casinos in no time. Just make sure that you keep your look vampish with lots of lipstick and generous amounts of eyeshadow!
A day at the races
Of course, we can't be night owls all the time, and what better way to celebrate the last of the year's warmth than a trip to the races. Even if you know nothing about racing, it's always a visual feast with some amazing headwear, boutique dresses, and of course, lots of champagne to enjoy!
The one thing to remember about going to the races late in the year is that it can get pretty chilly. So be sure to wrap up warm with an on-trend tartan cape to give you that sophisticated, yet warming look as you cheer your winner over the line!
