Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Perfume Review

Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Perfume Review

Elizabeth and James fragrances, created by child stars turned fashion designers, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, have been on my most coveted listed since they very first launched under the fashion house of the same name.  The aesthetic of this lifestyle brand really appeals to me as it centres around balance, enabling women to carve out their own style, combining effortless flair with a playful femininity.

The Elizabeth and James fragrance line gives the modern woman options which is perfect if you're someone like me who pays as much attention to the scent you wear each day as you do your clothing.

The first scent that I've been trying out from Elizabeth and James is Nirvana White which I got back in April and have loved wearing throughout the summer, although it is a scent that I know I'll be able to enjoy all year round.

Created with perfumer Honorine Blanc, Nirvana White is a musky floral fragrance housed in the most beautiful white and gold tactile bottle.  Everything about this scent is stylish from the instantly recognisably chic packaging down to the juice inside.

You could be forgiven for thinking that this was going to be a light, daytime specific scent but its actually heavier than I thought it would be and one that could be worn at any time, for any occasion.  Feminine, but not too girly, this is definitely a perfume for a woman who is self assured and comfortable in her own style.

Nirvana White is a confident, sophisticated perfume with notes of musk, peony and muguet.  The more it dries down, the more I love wearing it as the scent becomes softer but the musk is still powerful and makes this scent long lasting.

The sillage is quite middle of the road but always attracts compliments when people stand next to me as its an unusual scent and not something you find everyone wearing like some of the more popular fragrances I own; Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, I'm looking at you!

If you want a fragrance that you can wear all day, every day but that's not like what all your friends are wearing, then I'd recommend checking out Elizabeth and James Nirvana White.

  4. I am always on the look out for beautiful perfume recommendations. I have worn the same one for ages (Prada Iris) but when I bought my last bottle they had changed it which was awful! Still nice, but not the same :(

  7. I'm not sure this will be my kind of scent, it does however sound like the perfect birthday/Christmas gift for my mum since it sounds like the sort of perfume that she loves.
