When I posted about my new 4th & Reckless boots over on my Instagram page, so many of you commented on how gorgeous they are. I can’t help but agree; from the moment that I saw them online, they had me feeling seriously heart eyed emoji!
The gorgeous khaki colour instantly drew me to them. With each autumn that passes, I add more and more khaki to my wardrobe and it always sees me right through until spring. This green hue suits everyone, pairs well with a multitude of different styles and colour palettes and I find that it is particularly complimentry to my own wardrobe and colouring.
The Jade Faux Suede Hexagonal Heel Ankle Boots have the addition of a shiny gold metallic heel that is hexagonally shaped. This design feature makes a stylish alternative to a standard block heel while being chunky enough to make these boots easy and comfortable to walk in. I’m all about the comfort factor- gone are the days of tottering about in painful shoes for me!
The heel on these boots is 10cm/3.9″ so they add a great bit of height to my 5ft5″ frame which I love. I always remember being the tallest girl in my class at junior school then when I reached comprehensive, everyone continued to grow and I stopped!

I’ve paired my ankle boots with a Yours Clothing black cami, River Island Plus Camo Shacket, ASOS Stretch Skinny Trouser with Patch Pockets and accessorised it with my Swarovski Slake Deluxe Bracelet, for a smart-casual look. I have a few of these wrap bracelets and they’re ideal for daytime outfits or for a more edgy evening look. The makeup that I’m wearing here is from the new collection for spring by Paul & Joe Beaute and I’m so taken by it. Pink looks beautiful as an accent colour alongside the khaki in the boots and shirt jacket.
The great thing about these boots is that they look great with so many different outfits, not just trousers like in these photos. They look fabulous with a little dress and bare legs, leggings and a dress/tunic and ankle grazer jeans. Plus with them being khaki, they match so many colour palettes such as black, wine, tan, navy and denim.

The selection of 4th & Reckless boots is unreal so if these ones don’t take your fancy then I’d highly suggest checking out their site for more of the latest trends. They have such a gorgeous range of bang on trend styles that enable you to be able to instantly update your look without spending a fortune.
The price is particularly important to me as while I love to wear stylish shoes, I don’t like them to cost me an arm and a leg. Comfort is a big factor for me and quality as I wear my shoes until I wear them out so while I don’t like to spend too much on them because I wear them out, I do like to spend enough on them that they’re comfortable, hard wearing and last.
I’m really impressed with the design of these 4th & Reckless boots as the style looks unique and like attention has been paid to the shape, the quality of the faux suede is great and from wearing them a number of times already, I think that they’re going to be hard wearing. They are very comfortable to wear and are an accurate, true to size fit. They aren’t narrow or tight across the foot which I think adds to their comfort. When I first tried them on, I did find that they were a close fit around my ankles, although keep in mind that mine are larger than average, but with wear they have loosened off.
