From Cara Delevingne and Lily Collins’ fluffy brows to Megan Fox and Kim Kardashian’s gravity-defying lashes, Hollywood has genuinely made us curious about how to get those beautiful brows and lashes when you don’t have a professional makeup professional on standby.

Lucky for you, we have a few tips to provide you with beautiful brows and lashes – keep on reading!

Eyebrows

1. Don’t Over-Pluck Your Brows

Yes, one of the easiest ways to get beautiful brows is by simply leaving them alone!

We understand that it is pretty tempting to just pick up the tweezers and get to plucking the teeny tiny hair here and there, but they aren’t exactly the perfect option for shaping your brows.

2. Nourish your Brows

For your brows to grow, you need to keep them well-nourished, and products such as eyebrow growth serums and carrier and essential oils can definitely do the trick!

If you want to use oil, we suggest castor oil, olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and rosemary essential oil. Apply them to your eyebrows before going to bed, and they’ll work while you get some rest.

3. Find the Right Products

With so many products in the market, it can be quite challenging to find the right one for your eyebrows.

First and foremost, know your eyebrow goals. Do you want to fill in sparse spots? Grab an angled brush and eyebrow powder. Want to add a natural definition to your brows? Get the beautiful brows and lashes tint.

Eyelashes

1. Cleaning and Moisturizing Lashes

The human eyelash is designed to keep dust and debris out of the eye. However, eye makeup can irritate and dry the lashes out, leading to them breaking or becoming brittle.

Using a clear spooly to comb your lashes will help clean them. You can then moisturize them with castor, almond, coconut, or Vitamin E oil to keep them pliable and moisturized.

2. Avoid Harsh Products

There are so many cheap counterfeit mascaras available in the market that can cause swelling to the eyes, severe skin reactions, and long-term damage to the eyes.

Thus, it is crucial for you to avoid fake makeup products with harsh ingredients, such as drying alcohols, paint strippers, cyanide, and Teflon as they can cause the lashes to be brittle and lead to breakage.

3. Never Share Mascara

Whoever said ‘sharing is caring’ was not talking about mascara. Makeup products and tools are a breeding place for bacteria.

Even though it seems safe, people who share mascara and other eye makeup products are at risk for contracting conjunctivitis (pink eye), staph infection, and even herpes.

Ultimately, eyelash and eyebrow health starts with proper care and nourishment. By taking good care of them and cutting the bad things out, you will be well on your way to fuller and healthier lashes and brows.
