Alpha H Vitamin C Serum Review

Alpha H Vitamin C Review WhatLauraLoves

If you’re looking for a facial serum that does it all, then the next generation Alpha H Vitamin C serum could be for you.  As the name would suggest, this serum is formulated with Vitamin C and other powerful botanical antioxidants, united with new technology, to deeply penetrate the skin to help to maintain its natural collagen production, improve the appearance of skin elasticity, texture and radiance while also reducing the appearance of pores and pigmentation.

Pretty impressive huh?  I sure think so!

Mind you, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Alpha H; they’re specialists in resurfacing and regulating overactive and sensitive skin and have even been found to improve the most troubled complexions.  You’ve probably heard of Alpha H before as they’re pretty famous when it comes to exfoliators thanks to their Liquid Gold.  I know this might come as a surprise as its so popular but I didn’t get on well with this product however I’ve recently revisited it with the limited edition, Liquid Gold Rose and I’m really enjoying the results so I do think that at some point in the future, I’ll give the original another go.

What I have been trying out however is the Alpha H Vitamin C with Grape Seed serum which I have been thoroughly enjoying.  Suitable for all skin types, this serum is enriched with ethyl ascorbic acid, liquorice extract, hyaluronic acid and grape seed extract which have an antioxidant effect on the skin. These key ingredients help to stimulate the production of collagen and boost elasticity, reduce pigmentation and refine the appearance of the pores which, over time, help to give the skin a plump, firm and radiant look.

Using it is easy, simply cleanse, tone and apply your eye cream in the AM, then pop 2-3 drops onto your palm, quick therapists swipe and pat into the skin before following up with your usual day moisturiser and SPF.  It feels light yet nourishing and doesn’t make my skin feel greasy.  My other products are easily absorbed on top too.

On my skin, which can often look lacklustre when I’m feeling run down, this serum helps to give my skin a brighter, more radiant complexion and overall, it looks more youthful after I’ve used it because of the glow that it helps to add to my skin.  I do think that its one of those products that you need to keep using in order to see the full benefits so if you buy it, keep going and I’m sure you’ll notice a difference in your skin, as I have done so far.

A little goes a long way with this serum so although its high end, its performance and longevity makes it well worth the money in my opinion.

The Alpha H Vitamin C is available from Cult Beauty and Beauty Bay.

I was previously using a serum for acne control but I’m not using any product currently. Serums are definitely great for the skin! You’ve got some fab recommendations there.

I like a serum because they are more intense than a cream. I would happily just use a serum in the morning. Vitamin C is so good for my dry skin as it illuminates it a little too.

I absolutely love the Alpha H brand, yeah it’s pricey but their products work! I’ve just started wearing serums so I may have to pick this one up!
