Batiste Monochrome Dry Shampoo Review

Batiste Monochrome*

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been getting groovy baby with the new Batiste Monochrome dry shampoo as I revive my second (ok and sometimes third) day hair!

Monochrome is a dry shampoo with a spicy and dynamic fragrance with top notes of Orange Blossom and Pepper, heart notes of Hyacinth, Iris, Lilac, Wisteria and Heliotropine and a warm base of my favourite, (yes, you’ve guessed it) Musk.  This is right up my street!

Even the can itself is channelling a retro 60’s vibe with a black and white bold geometric design that is inspired by Moroccan prints.

As with all Batiste dry shampoo products, this one is so simply to use.  Separate the hair into sections, lift the hair and spray into the root from a distance.  Leave to settle for a few seconds so that the powder within the product has the chance to absorb the oil and then rub and massage it into your hair at the roots.  Then, brush through your hair so that it catches any residual oil that’s left on your hair.  It will leave your hair with a more matte, textured finish and it’ll look a lot less oily or greasy.

The texture that it gives your hair is great for if you’re wanting to achieve more volume, if you are wanting to curl your hair or pin it up in an up do or plaits, etc .  This is because it gives the hair so much more grit and hold.  I even use it on freshly washed hair when it feels too clean, to give it that extra grip.

Check out all of the Batiste Dry Shampoo varieties on their website and you can buy a 200ml can exclusively from Boots for only £2.99 which is a great deal for a product that you can use every day if necessary!
