|Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hour Wear Felt Tip Liner, £2.99|
Over the years, I’ve tried lots of liquid eye liners from Barry M to MAC and this is by far my favourite. I first discovered it at the beginning of last year when I was in Morrisons picking up a few bottles of Chateauneuf Du Pape for a meaty dinner party I was hosting. Funnily enough, this is how I also discovered two of my other favourites from Collection 2000 but I’ll save those for a later post.
The Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hour Wear Felt Tip Liner is a fool proof way to create any winged eye liner look. Its very well pigmented and doesn’t irritate my eyes whatsoever. It is incredibly long lasting and whilst I haven’t worn it for a full 24 hours due to sleeping and all that essential stuff, I do think that it would live up to the claims. I’ve worn it for a good 18 hours before on an around the clock trip to London and it still looked as fresh as it did when I first applied it.
The felt tip nib makes it so easy to apply, even those who don’t have the steadiest of hands could use this with ease. I used to be fairly useless at applying liquid liner until I tried using this pen. The nib is strong and sturdy with just the right amount of flexibility so that you can create a variety of looks without a messy application.
I’ve really been impressed with Collection 2000 over the last year, they’ve quickly become my favourite drug store makeup brand. Their long lasting formula’s really rival high end brands like Estee Lauder, particularly the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer as it is just as good, if not better than the Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer. At £2.99 it is a fraction of it’s high end counterparts and easily accessible to all at supermarkets and in Superdrug and Boots.
Have you tried this liner? Do you find liquid liner difficult to apply? Do you have any other Collection 2000 recommendations for me?
