Empties #16

Girls I’m so proud of myself.  I’m rattling through the products in my stash like there’s no tomorrow and today I’ve got yet another empties post for you.  Lets take a look at what I’ve used up…

First up is the super light weight, easy to sink in Collagen Body Moisturising Gel* (full review here, buy here) from Love Your Skin.  This is a water based moisturising gel that is so cooling and perfect to use during the summer, particularly on sun kissed skin as it contains aloe vera which is cooling and soothing properties.  I have a lot of body moisturisers to get through but when I’m out of them I’d definitely consider buying this again, only in the summer though as its too cold to apply in the winter!

Another light weight, slap it on, no fuss product is the ApiNourish Age Defying Serum (review here, buy here) from Manuka Doctor who are one of my favourite brands.  If you’re looking for natural and intelligent skincare that works then this is the brand for you.  This serum takes Purified Bee Venom, Manuka Honey and Royal Jelly to stimulate collagen and elastin production within the skin leaving it looking renewed and plumped up, getting rid of the appearance of fine lines.  I’d say that this is about my fourth bottle of this after initially being sent one to review, so of course, I will be repurchasing it in the future!

The body spray that I’ve been spritzing on is the Ted Baker Origami Body Spray (buy here) that I got in a gift set at Christmas.  I absolutely love the smell of this as it combines some of my favourite notes- raspberry, vanilla, rose and sandalwood.  The packaging was a little rubbish towards then end as it came out in blobs rather than as a spray but I can forgive it as the smell is so gorgeous and long lasting.  I have a million and one Victoria’s Secret fragrance mists to get through before I consider repurchasing this but may be one day…

Another deliciously smelling product is the YSL Elle Energising Body Lotion (fragrance review here, buy here) that I got to compliment the perfume.  As a body lotion, it is actually pretty good as it doesn’t dry out the skin like a lot of perfume body lotions do and it is fantastic to layer up the scent when used with the perfume so I will definitely repurchase the gift set again.

The final product that I’ve used up is the Aussie Take The Heat Leave In Cream that I’ve used for years as a heat protectant and smoothing blow dry cream in one.  I’ll not be repurchasing this as I’ve since discovered the FABULOUS Neal and Wolf Silk Smoothing Blow Dry Balm (buy here) that just blows the Aussie offering out of the water!

I love the smell of the Ted Baker spray, my Mum seems to wear it all the time! If I didn't have so many perfumes I'd be seriously tempted to buy!I've done pretty well recently – used up a TIGI Tween Pack and a Armani Bronzer 🙂 xSarah @ sarahlouxo.com xx
