Empties #32 | Products I’ve Used Up

Beauty Products Reviewed

Once again, I’m back with a new video sharing all of the products that I’ve used up and have ready to chuck out.

This one is a bit of a mixed bag.  There’s some products in there that I really love such as the Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Shower Power Hair Removal Cream (review here) that has been keeping my legs fuzz free for years and the Soft and Gentle Lavender and Patchouli Anti White Mark Deodorant which keeps my underarms smelling and feeling fresh.  I featured another pot of the GlamGlow Youth Mud face mask that I have used up recently.  I posted a full review of this mask many moons ago which you can read here but essentially, I still love the way that it smooths and brightens my skin instantly just as much as I did when I first used it.  It is quite honestly the best mask that I own and I think I’ll always have one of these in my beauty stash.  This one is in a pink pot because it is one that was released as a limited edition to raise money for a cancer charity but its the exact same contents as the black pot.

Another product that I was really impressed with was the L’Oreal Paris Gentle Makeup Remover For Eyes (review here).  It isn’t quite as good as the one that I usually use but its almost there and much easier to get a hold of so I would definitely buy this one in future.  Another product product that I’d repurchase is thePhyto Express Conditioner which is great if you’re someone that has oily roots and dry ends as it hydrates without weighing down the hair.  The L’Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickening Mask is another hair product that I’ll repurchase as I loved its effect spoke volumes, literally.

Two products from my empties are ones that I would repurchase but just not yet.  The first is the Victoria Secret Hello Darling body scrub which is incredible at sloughing away the dead skin from your body but, unfortunately, I don’t have a VS near me and we can’t order online in the UK yet.  The second is the This Works Deep Sleep Bath Soak which are bath salts that you pour into your bath and breathe in the relaxing aroma before bed to help you to go to sleep.  I loved these bath salts and they’re the first bath salts I’ve ever enjoyed but they are very expensive so before I repurchase them, I want to try out some similar products at a lower price point to see if theres anything I like just as much, or more.  If there isn’t, then I’ll repurchase these.

As always, you know that I’m very honest and theres a couple of products in the video that I just didn’t think were worth the hype including the Zoella Beauty Soak Opera Bath and Shower Cream which was just a bit meh and the Colab Sheer and Invisible Dry Shampoo in the London fragrance which didn’t seem to do anything for my super oily roots.

Another couple of products that I’ll not be repurchasing are the Davines Leave In Mist (review herebuy here) which was lovely but I got bored once I got half way through it and the Avene Gentle Purifying Scrub which just isn’t abrasive enough for my face scrub tastes!

Finally, there’s two products in the video that I will be avoiding at all costs and that’s the Palmers Cocoa Body Scrub (review here) which smells like wet dog and the Philip Kingsley Pure Silver Shampoo which, just like the Elasticizer, did next to nothing for my hair unfortunately.

I’d love it if you could check out my new video and give it a thumbs up on youtube.

I’ve got lots of empties posts coming up because I’ve been making my way through my stash for quite some time now and I’m wanting to say ‘tatty bye’ to the empty containers ASAP!

I have tried the Elasiticizer and thought it was ok but the shampoos and conditioners are awful! So glad I'm not the only one who felt the same! Followed your blog for a while now but this was the first video of yours I've watched 🙂 Loved it :)http://whatalookerbeauty.blogspot.com.au/

I like to change up my hair care products just to keep things fun. So even though a product is good, I tend to buy something else to try out…it's a nice change. Especially since some hair products can take a while to go through!
