I was out shopping in the Metro Centre last week on the day that I went to the fabulous store opening at Yours Clothing, when I passed Evans and realised that it has literally been yonks since I last went in there. I had to meet my friend for lunch but made a mental note to check their website out as a few pieces caught my eye in the window and on the imagery that was displayed in the store.
At first glance on the website, I think this has to be my favourite summer offering that Evans has had to date. There’s so many colours and styles that I am loving right now on there, especially lime and coral pieces, and now that there’s a sale on, many of them are cheaper than ever before.
Today I wanted to share with you three pieces that I am loving right now from Evans.
The first piece that I am absolutely loving are these Light Blue Denim Rip and Patch Boyfriend Jeans. Now these are the kind that I’d need to try on in store as I’m so out of proportion and find it really difficult to buy trousers and jeans online but style wise, these are massively on my radar. They have straight legs which I prefer as they tend to be slimmer towards the ankles (skinnies are my ultimate fave but you can’t have everything in life can you?) and they turn up at the bottom which is a look that I’m absolutely loving at the moment. I just think that they look so cool for during the day but they can equally look chic for an evening out with some pointed court shoes. I’ve been looking for some jeans with rips and patches in for sometime now and these might just be the ones for me!
I’ve got a serious case of heart eyed emoji just thinking about this Coral Crepe Jacket. It looks more of a bright orange on the website but either way, it is all kinds of beautiful. I really like jackets to be made to be worn open like this one as I think that they look super chic, especially with three quarter length sleeves, and you can pair them over the top of everything from dresses to trousers and a cami. I love how this one is styled on the website with an all black outfit which is how I would intend to wear it but it would also look fabulous with white or even pink. The crepe fabric is ideal for the summer too as it is lightweight which makes it a great layering piece.
For those of you who are looking for occasion wear this summer then I would definitely recommend the Little Mistress Red Poppy Print Dress. As a brand, Little Mistress are absolutely fabulous and every single one of their dresses that I’ve tried on, I have loved. They’re superb quality, excellently styled but they don’t cost the earth. They quite remind me of Forever Unique dresses which cost a small fortune in comparison. I love this poppy print dress because it is a great transitional piece. I would look fabulous at a summer wedding with some sandals as the cream backdrop is light and fresh but it would look equally suited to an autumnal wedding with some heels, a cardigan or light blazer and even some tights should the weather be cold. The red poppy print is one that looks suited to the summer as it is an arty, floral design but it would also be great for autumn because of the red colour palette.
I love to shop online rather than in store for most things because I like that there is more choice online with the full range of products, plenty of sizes and more discounts to be had from websites like www.vouchacodes.co.uk. Before placing an order online, I always like to check to see if there are any extra discounts that I can get on the items that I’m ordering or if there is a free delivery code available. It takes seconds to do but can really save you a few pounds here and there which over the course of a year, really adds up.
If you have any extra money saving tips for shopping online then I’d love to hear them.
