I’ve just repurchased one my favourite perfumes, YSL Elle (review here), that I’ve bought time and time again. I got a great deal on it this time (£47.99 down from the RRP of £56.00 which is much cheaper than I’ve bought it for in the past) from one of my favourite websites to buy perfume from online called Fragrance Direct. This is actually going to be the perfume that I’m going to wear on my wedding day so I’ve bought it to put away for then. I’ve chosen to wear that one because it is the perfume I wore on our first date and Mr WLL instantly recognises it. I’m now waiting for my new scent to arrive but seen as though I’ve already reviewed the perfume, I thought I would actually review the company I bought it from.
Fragrance Direct carries top quality health and beauty products for both men and women. They have such a wide range of products from perfumes to cologne, makeup to hair products and from skin care lotions to sun and tanning solutions.
There are so many of the top ladies fragrances in gorgeous decorative bottles that would look beautiful on your dressing table as well as make you feel beautiful when you’re wearing them. From the best selling scents like Calvin Klein to celebrity fragrances like Kate Moss the deals are always amazing. You might even be able to find some of your favourite fragrances for half price or less- so you know you’re getting a great deal. If you want to smell like your favourite celeb, Fragrance Direct sell a lot of the celebrity fragrance that you will have heard advertised. From Sarah Jessica Parker to Elizabeth Taylor the prices will fit your wallet.
They stock some great unisex fragrances like the ones from Calvin Klein so that both you and your man can use it. These are great options particularly if you’re going on holiday because it saves you from carrying two separate bottles.
The fragrances come in lots of different sizes of perfumes too so whether you want one to sit on your bathroom cabinet or to fit nicely into your bag, you’re bound to find one to suit you. Shopping for perfume has never been easier- all you have to do is use the drop down options or type your favourite product in the search box and hit enter and it brings up all of the fragrances that they carry with the same or a similar name. Simple!
I’ve noticed that some of them come with a free tote bag when you buy the product and we all love a freebie don’t we girls?
If you’re shopping for the man in your life, Fragrance Direct has a wide selection of mens aftershave, gels and cologne so they’re a perfect place to shop for a present. I’m a big fan of layering a scent by using complimentary products to make the fragrance last longer. They have lots of gift sets and a great selection of shower gels and lotions all in the same scent as the perfumes and colognes that can all be used to layer the scent, get you or your man feeling clean and smelling fresh in record time and ready to head out of the door. Using aftershave or gel after shaving helps those with sensitive skin too Whilst the deals on the gift sets and individual products are already great you could also have a look at voucherbox.co.uk as they often have some discount codes that you can use on the website to get even more money off.
Even if you don’t want to use a shower gel in the smell of your favourite fragrance there are lots of others on the site that will leave you smelling clean and fresh as well as lots of hair products. There are scented body sprays too that you can pop in your bag to get you through the day.
Now onto their other products, as there is such a variety of makeup on there from lips, eyes, face, nails, and skin products. There are some gorgeous blushers from Rimmel and Maybelline that will add color to your cheeks and face, eye liner and eye shadow from brands like Dainty Doll and Bourjois so draw attention to the eyes and lip products from my favourites Burt’s Bees and L’Oreal. For the nails, they have lots of tools, like files and emery boards, and polishes, even from brands like OPI, to keep your fingers and toes looking preened and manicured. I haven’t ordered these myself from Fragrance Direct but I’ve tried some of the products that are on there so I know that they are good as well as some of the tanning brands that I’ll come to soon.
Onto one of my favourite sections of any website and that’s skin care which is so important for men as well as women. Everyone needs creams to keep their skin looking young by helping to keep wrinkles at bay and cleansers to help with cleaning the skin. Fragrance Direct has loads to choose from. There are night creams that will give some extra moisture to even the driest of skins as well as other creams, lotions, and gels for men and women to help with all of their skin problems whether it be dry, sensitive, combination or oily skin.
Tanning and sun care is another favourite section of mine as my favourite products are usually so expensive. There are loads of products to help you to get a great tan when you’re in the direct sunlight, like my absolute favourite Hawaiian Tropic, and to lock it in with after sun. However there are also lots of products that you can buy to get a natural tan without sitting out in the sun for hours, potentially damaging your skin. One of these products is false tan and Fragrance Direct sell one of my all time favourite brands, Fake Bake. I’ll have a review of their fairly new 60 minute tan coming up soon too so follow me on Twitter and I’ll pop the link up when that post is live. They also sell St Moriz and they have the bronzing powders that I reviewed in this post for sale too.
So that’s it, my review of Fragrance Direct. I can’t think of much else to say about them other than that their site is great to get some fab products at low prices! Do let me know if you like reviews like this of shops as well as product reviews and I’ll do more of them. I recently placed my first large order from ASOS Curve and I’d love to tell you what I thought about the service from them.
