|Freedom Prow Glow powder in Meow*|
Oh I do love a pretty powder, not just in colour but in the pattern in the pan too and for me, the Freedom Pro Glow powder well and truly ticks the pretty box for me. In fact, everything on the Beauty Crowd website ticks the pretty makeup box but lets face it, the Freedom Pro Glow powder is just that little bit more pretty.
Freedom Pro Glow are powders with a multiple baked formula that contain three different shades to brighten the complexion. They have a cute leopard print pattern in the pan which not only looks pretty but it means that the shades can be used together or separately too. There are four different Freedom Pro Glow powders with different shades in them and this one, Meow, in particular very loosely reminds me of the Pink Leopard Bronzer by Too Faced.
Meow combines a muddy brown, bronzer shade with an off white highlighter shade and a muted rose pink together in its leopard print pattern. All of the shades can be used individually if you wanted to although given the shape of the palette, this would be quite a challenge as the areas of the different colours are quite small so only some eyeshadow brushes could be used. If you were away from home and looking for a multi use product to take with you then you could definitely utilise Meow in this way but its main purpose is as a blush.
Swirling all three shades together in the pan creates this gorgeous shade that is unlike anything else that I have in my collection. It is a shimmery muted rose with taupe tones in it.
The colour is stunning and completely different to something that I would usually go for. It has a way of bringing warmth to the face like a bronzer, adding colour to the cheeks like a blush and lifting the face like a highlighter.

The product kicks up a lot of powder when you’re swirling your brush in it and a little definitely goes a long way so be careful to apply it lightly and build up to your desired look.
For me, this is most definitely an evening shade. I feel as though it would look too done up on me if I were to wear it during the daytime so I like to reserve it for evenings out where I pair it with a smokey eye and nude lippy. As the colour is multi-tonal, plenty of other shades of lipstick compliment this cheek colour well, from muted, dusky pinks to mauve and cooler toned nude shades like Blankety from MAC.
The Freedom Pro Glow powders are available online from Beauty Crowd for a very purse friendly £2.50. I’ve talked at length in a couple of posts about their fabulous new website that stocks more beauty products than you can shake a stick at, including many from brands that are hard to get hold of in the UK.
Freedom are a new makeup brand that have only just launched in the UK. I have four products to review from them and I’ll let you into a little secret… I love them all. The first review that I have posted is of their bronzer, highlight and contour powder and you can give it a read here.
Until next time… Happy shopping!
