How To Take A Great Selfie

I’ve had a really hard week in my personal life and it isn’t set to get any easier I don’t think for a couple of weeks yet.  Last night, I needed a break so I went out for supper with some girls that I used to go to school with and we had such a lovely night.  Sometimes when you’re feeling like things are getting on top of you, its good to just take your mind off things and have a giggle with the girls.

I wore my maxi dress from this post and had my hair big and curly.  If I had £10 for every time I’ve worn this dress since I got it, I think I’d be close to 1 million pounds now. I just LOVE it.  Sometimes taking time to get ready and pamper yourself is really worthwhile, I find, and when I left the house I loved the look I’d created, especially with my hair.  I’d really managed to get that sweeping fringe thing down and it was probably the best I’ve ever done my hair.

I was in such a rush to get out and as I had already posted an outfit post wearing the dress I had on, I didn’t stop to take a photo as I was heading out of the door.  I fully intended to take a selfie when I first got to the restaurant but before I knew it, we were leaving the venue and stepping out into the pouring rain which ruined my hair and I ended up resembling Amy Winehouse.  She used to rock her hair styles bless her, but they just don’t suit me.

Needless to say, I forgot to capture the moment and I’ll not be making that mistake again haha.  I found a cute infographic on how to take a great selfie and I’m definitely going to heed some of its advice for my future snaps!  What do you think?
