Jimmy Choo have recently released a new fragrance to their perfume line, Fever, and it’s absolutely gorgeous; far deeper and sexier than the other scents I’ve tried from them, like the Blossom Special Edition, and sweet too. Jimmy Choo Fever is perfect for you if you’re looking for a sweet floral scent that’s still sophisticated.
Fever was developed by two perfumers Nathalie Lorson, based in Paris, and Honorine Blanc, who lives in New York. They explored new facets of almond and black plum nectar to create the ultimate scent for the woman who is effortlessly seductive and in charge of her own destiny. Fever is a floral gourmand scent that was released in 2018. I’ve been testing it out since well before Christmas so that I could give you my thoughts in this review post.
Fever is a sexy, empowering fragrance that I think is perfect for a glamorous night out on the tiles with the girls. It has sweet top notes of plum, lychee and grapefruit, a floral heart of heliotrope, vanilla orchid and jasmine and a warm, creamy base of benzoin, sandalwood and roasted tonka bean that really comes out in the dry down.
When first sprayed, you could be forgiven for thinking that this is a generic sweet fragrance but it isn’t long before the floral notes kick in and the creamy, warm base comes through to give it a sultry air of mystery. It’s long lasting and throws the scent really well too.
If you love grown up, sweeter fragrances like Black Opium by YSL then I think you’ll really enjoy Jimmy Choo Fever. Plus the packaging is GORGEOUS. Very true to the Jimmy Choo fragrance line but in a stunning plum and metallic gold, rather than the beautiful light pink that you’ll find with L’Eau that I’ve also reviewed. The iconic snakeskin texture that is often used on Jimmy Choo footwear and accessories is reinterpreted on the outer box packaging which is something that I love that they do as it gives the whole product a really luxe look. Jimmy Choo perfumes make ideal gifts I find as they feel special and smell so beautiful!
40ml, 60ml and 100ml bottles are available nationwide and online from stores such as John Lewis, Debenhams and The Perfume Shop.
I’ve you’re looking for a fragrance for the man in your life however, I’ve got a review of Jimmy Choo Man Ice on my blog too!
Which Jimmy Choo perfume is your favourite?
Jimmy Choo do some great fragrances, I have to admit I’ve not tried this one myself but it sounds like it is a wonderful scent. I’m going to have to try it out myself.
This sounds like a great scent. I prefer more grown up, sweeter fragrances as I’ve got older.
I’ve never tried any Jimmy Choo fragrances but this one sounds divine.
I’ll have to look out for this one. I love the scent of jasmine.
My best friend loves Jimmy Choo fragrances, I’ll have to see if she has seen this one
I’ve never tried a Jimmy Choo perfume but I do like sweeter scents and I also loved Black Opium by YSL so I’m sure I’ll love this one too! x
My mom is requesting for a perfume for her birthday and I think she will like that. I’ll check out their scents and maybe ask my mom to come too.
This sounds absolutely beautiful. The kids have been asking if there’s a nice perfume I’d like for Mothers Day this year so I might have to give this a try 🙂
