Today I thought I’d share with you some products I’ve been trying out from Keromask; the camouflage cream, the finishing powder and the makeup brushes.
Keromask is the top camouflage makeup range designed to disguise all types of skin imperfections from unwanted tattoos to acne scaring, vitiligo to rosacea and from scars to under eye circles. It is suitable for all skin types and is one of the only makeup ranges that I have seen that make a realistic range of shades to really suit ALL skin tones.
Keromask Camouflage Cream and Finishing Powder Sample Kit
Keromask Light Sample Kit, £4.99
The Camouflage cream comes in 24 shades that can be mixed and blended to give the perfect colour match for all skin tones. If you’re unsure as to what shade you will be, you could try a sample kit like the one above. They’re available in light, medium and dark skin tones for only £4.99. The sample kits are a great way to try the whole range of shades with the finishing powders to find your perfect colour match and to see if the product works for you, without committing to buying the full size camouflage cream. I think that the range of shades is more than adequate and they are so easy to mix and blend together; it was easy to find my perfect shade! I found the Keromask Camouflage Cream to be easy to apply and incredibly long lasting, in fact, it is quite difficult to remove so it is definitely sweat, water and heat resistant!
Keromask Mineral Rich Finishing Powder
in White Translucent
Keromask Finishing Powder, £15.99
The Keromask Mineral Rich Finishing Powder is available in four shades; translucent, light, medium and dark. I received the white translucent shade to try out and this particular one can be used on top of any shade of the camouflage cream. The packaging is great, you simply twist the disc to grind the desired amount of powder which is something very unique that I haven’t seen before! To apply, I simply sweep a light dusting of the finishing powder over the camouflage cream and this helps to set it and hold everything in place. It ensures that the area where the Keromask has been applied is waterproof, smudge-proof and heat resistant. The combination of the two products together means that it is great to use anywhere on the body, so say if it is your wedding day and you have a tattoo on your shoulder that you don’t want to be on show in your dress, then you could use Keromask to cover it up for the day.
The products are very easy to use. Above I have demonstrated how well they apply to a patch of psoriasis on my wrist. I used a concealer brush (before receiving the Keromask makeup brushes to review!) to apply a mixture of two shades of the camouflage cream, gave it 30 seconds to set, and I then used the fluffy brush included to apply the finishing powder. It is very quick and easy to use and as you can see, it covers up a scabby patch of skin pretty darn well. Keromask works wonders on tattoos too. I have no tattoos to demonstrate this on but I have seen photos of others who have used Keromask to cover up their tattoos with great results.
Keromask Professional Makeup Brush Kit
Keromask Makeup Brushes, £19.99
I was also recently asked to review the Keromask Professional Makeup Brush Kit and I was so surprised to see on the website that this is priced at only £19.99 as the brushes are such brilliant quality, certainly comparable to some of my MAC and Sigma brushes. There’s an eyebrow brush/eyelash comb, a powder brush, an angled powder brush (great for contouring, blusher and highlight) and two concealer brushes. They’re all very good quality, the bristles are densely packed and do not shed.
The Keromask brushes are specifically designed to ensure a natural application of the Keromask Camouflage Cream and Finishing Powder however they are fantastic at applying any makeup in my collection. The brushes are all made with natural bristles which help the Keromask products to apply smoothly to the skin and provide a full coverage without looking heavy. I find that with my other makeup, they pick up just the right amount of product and that again, the product applies smoothly and evenly to my skin, I love them! I also like the brush roll that comes with them, it is a nice touch and makes them great for taking with you when you’re travelling.
