Some days when I want to just feel comfortable and laid back but still a little glam, I’ll opt for my go-to combo of skinny jeans and one of my gorgeous plus size tops for a look thats casual but not too casual.
I wore this outfit to the Customs House in South Shields last Saturday for Jason Cook’s Comedy Club. It’s my favourite night of the month and if you love comedy and you’re in the North East, I’d urge you to go as it is consistently a brilliant and affordable night out.
My top is from the Curve range at Quiz Clothing, you can find direct shopping links to it on my Instagram highlight for June. If you’re not following me on there then please do as every month, I organise the clothes that I’m wearing into highlights with swipe up affiliate links that’ll take you direct to the product so its easy peasy to shop the looks that I wear if you love the style of them.
Quiz Curve have created a number of different t-shirts this season and I’ve got to say, I’m really impressed with the quality and the styling of them, especially for their reasonable cost. The styling is gorgeous, especially this one; blacker than black and in a soft, stretchy fabric with a slogan print that combines lettering with metallic gold, leopard print and a hint of pink.
I paired mine with my staple black skinny jeans and a pink trench from River Island that I got years ago and still love wearing it. For accessories, I added some budget white kicks that I picked up from Ebay and my Chanel wallet on chain (WOC). I bought it years ago and honestly feel the same amount of joy wearing and using it now as I did when I first bought it. That’s how I know that although it was very expensive, it was definitely money well spent… The cost per wear now must be ridiculously small!
If you’re looking for a casual but trendy outfit for a day out or laid back night then this would be my suggestion. Quiz have so many other gorgeous pieces that are great for dressier nights out, should you wish to look a lot more glam. This plus size dress that I posted about last year is a fave of mine both for the cut, the material and the style.
