When the lovely people over at Sports Direct got in touch and asked if I’d like to try out something from their swimwear range, I couldn’t say no. Summer to me is all about hanging out by the pool whether it is at my local leisure club on holiday. Depending on what I’m doing, I either wear a swimming costume, usually when I’m actually going to be doing a lot of swimming, or a tankini for if I’m sunbathing more as it allows me to roll the top up a little when I’m lying down.

With a trip abroad coming up later in the year, I chose this gorgeous two piece by Ocean Pacific which is available in sizes 8 through to 20. Both the top and bottoms are sold as separates which is great if you’re a different size on your top half to your bottom and the fit is true to size so I’d suggest just buying your usual size when ordering.
I picked out the Ocean Pacific Halter Tankini top and the Ocean Pacific Bikini Bottoms. The top fastens around the neck with halter style tie straps and it clips together at the back, revealing a cute panel of your mid bag. What I love the most about this tankini top is that whilst the cups are moulded, they aren’t overly large. Often with swimwear I find that the cups swamp my C cup bust but this tankini doesn’t at all. It fits and flatters keeping the sweet but flirty style alive with the plunge bra and little tie in the middle. It is underwired too so it will make the most of your cleavage. Hello Boys! (Just kidding)

The Ocean Pacific Bikini Bottoms are a brief with an elasticated waist band for a comfortable fit. They are tied at the sides which gives a cute summery look without you feeling that you’re at risk of them untying!

This style is also available in plain black, navy and white floral, pink check, pink and white floral or the navy and pink spot like I have. There is also bikini shorts, a swimdress, swimskirt, halter swimsuit, halter bikini top and bikini bra available which I love as it gives you the option to mix and match your look. I’m really impressed with this tankini, especially for the price as it is great quality. The top is £5.00 down from £17.99 and the bottoms are £4.00 down from £12.99- who said looking good had to cost fortune?!
Sports Direct isn’t a shop I’d have usually looked at for swimwear as I never thought they’d sell my size but their whole range actually goes up to a 22 and they don’t just sell sporty pieces as you can see here. If you’d like to check out their swimwear then head on over to their website to check out their ladies swimwear.
Thanks Sports Direct for gifting me this cute tankini, I’ll enjoy getting a tan in it!
