In tomorrow’s post, I’m going to be sharing with you three different hair styles that I like to do on mornings where I’m in a rush but still want to look as though I’ve made an effort! I always suggest securing your style in place with a little hair spray, especially when you’re doing the styles that you’re going to see tomorrow (am I teasing you all enough already?!) and because of that, I thought I’d share with you the hair spray that I have been using most recently from Ojon. You may remember it from my Escentual haul where I got it free when I bought two other products.
The Ojon Revitalizing Flexible Hairspray is designed to give the hair flexible hold and lots of bouncy volume. I personally find that it gives quite a strong hold and really seems to weigh my hair down. It does hold a style to some extent however this is definitely at the detriment to how my hair feels as while it will keep my style in place, it will also really dry my hair out and make it feel powdery and crispy, even when only a small amount is used. It does claim to have bamboo extract within the formula for maximum elasticity, pure Ojon Oil to nourish and repair the hair as well as soy and wheat proteins to make the hair look fuller however I don’t believe that these help to make my hair feel good at all and I don’t like running my fingers through my hair after I have used this.
As far as hair sprays go, it isn’t a bad product but I don’t love it and there are far better ones out there, like this one that I recently reviewed from Fudge Urban. While I will continue using it until I have finished the can, I’ll definitely not be repurchasing it, especially not for over £20!
While I wouldn’t recommend it, it might work for you so before buying it, it may be best for you to try it out first. I know that Ojon are stocked in Boots so you may be able to have a go of a tester there. Failing that, you can buy online from Amazon here.
Have you tried this hairspray? What did you think of it? Which is your fave?
