Last month, I discovered the killer fashion statement of pairing similar tones to create a monochromatic style. Nude on nude, camel on camel; my post, A Nude Take On Monochrome Fashion was a hit with you, so I thought that it was about time that I gave you another.
This time, I layered the In The Style Curve Dani Dyer Stone and White Colour Block Jumper Dress (press sample) with the Pretty Little Thing Plus Camel Waterfall Coat which is also available in Black and another colour that they call ‘Mocha’ but it looks more like an off white/grey/cream to me!
This camel plus size waterfall coat has been an absolute staple in my wardrobe all winter long. It is an absolute bargain at £20 and I can certainly say that I have had more than my monies worth from it. If you’re wanting to wear it in the same way as I do then, i.e. open and without the tie, then Id suggest ordering your regular size or one above. If you want to wear it closed and you’re out of proportion like I am, then I’d go two sizes up. Personally, I feel as though this style is best worn open. Its channelling all of those Kim K vibes and I’m not afraid to say it because this beauty looks so sophisticated! True boujee on a budget styling for sure.
The jumper dress is just an absolute thing of beauty. Yes, you need to be careful with it as if it catches it will click and create a little loop- I got mine caught on the zip of my backpack- but managed to save it and pull it back through! It was also available in grey but it’s the stone one you’ll find still in stock now and I would definitely suggest ordering it if you’re looking for something like this because you’ll get plenty of wear out of it before it properly warms up and then once September rolls around, you can pull it back out again. This is one of those styles that you can wear for years to come because its chic, stylish and easy to wear. Just pop it on with a pair of ankle boots and a little backpack like mine from River Island and you’re good to go.
I feel so great in this outfit its unreal. I was down visiting friends in Sawbridgeworth in Hertfordshire and felt so sassy strutting about it in, big shades and all!
