Plus Size Halloween Fashion

ASOS Pumpkin Hat

With Halloween coming up very soon, I thought I’d start my yearly search online to find the best of the plus size fashion options for halloween themed clothing and outfits.

I tend to find that plus size halloween costumes tend to be a bit thin on the ground so being creative is key but these pieces are good to wear if you’re going out for halloween and want to add to them to create a costume and they’re also good for if you just want to dress a little themed for this time of the year.  Its been years since I’ve been to a halloween party or out clubbing for halloween but I’m a sucker for a theme so I have a knitted pumpkin beanie from ASOS that I bought a couple of years ago and they sell them every single year, as they must do very well, and a Trick or Treat T Shirt that I wear at this time of year too.  It actually looks quite chic with a black blazer and skinny jeans!

Here are all of the great outfits and accessories that I could find (you can scroll through by clicking left and right and click on the image to be taken direct to the shopping page for that item):

This year, I’ll be spending Halloween with Mr WLL with some halloween inspired snacks and a good horror film.  We’re actually really enjoying the new Scream TV Show on Netflix so we’ll probably watch that too.

How will you be spending halloween?  What are you going to dress up as?

I don't dress up (maybe just a witches' hat) but I do fill our front window like an Aladins Cave of Halloweenalia and my daughter has decided to go trick or treating dressed as Melanie Martinez – have no clue who this is LOL!

I find plus sized Halloween costumes really difficult to find so I end up just making my own basic costume and concentrating on the makeup instead.

Halloween is actually the anniversary of the night I ket my husband so we don't tend to do Halloween. However, now the kids are here we'll probably start getting more into it.

You've picked out some gorgeous pieces. I think my favourites have to be the black and silver cobweb leggings and I love the Johnny Loves Rosie eye mask (or whatever the official term is). This Halloween we are actually going to answer the door to trick or treaters!!! My little boy is 15 months old and we've got him a little Frankenstein outfit to wear and we are really going to start getting into the spirit of it more now he's here to take part in it (he was obviously here last year but he was only four months old). So we're going to hand out treats and also carve out a pumpkin to put outside the door to let people know they are welcome to knock on the door.Laura x

It's a shame there isn't that much out there for plus-size people to dress up for Halloween. Thanks for your ideas.
