WhatLauraWore: Ralph Lauren, Juicy & Michael Kors

When I was a little girl, I was never THAT into pink but as soon as I hit my late teens and early twenties, I loved it.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the kind of girl that has pink everything but I do like to have girly pink accents here and there and of course if that’s in an outfit then I do like to go a little matchy matchy.  You all know how much I love to be coordinated.

Todays outfit was inspired by this amazing lipstick.  The Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Fuchsia is simply incredible.  It is bright, vibrant, super long lasting and very comfortable to wear.  I have of course, already raved about this lip colour so if you missed that gem of a post then have a look here for all swatches and rave ramblings.  *Insert Emoji kissy face here* Mwah!

This is an outfit that I wore to go out on a drive with Mr WLL and we ended up playing crazy golf in a place called Sea Houses which is up the North East coastline from where I live.  It is a beautiful place in the world and lovely to walk around and grab some fish and chips if you’re peckish.  We always bundle my khaki parka and his Jack Wills gilet into the car when we’re going on random trips out so that if we stop off somewhere we can do whatever we like and still be warm.

The jumper that I’m wearing is by Ralph Lauren.  You might be wondering how I was able to find a Ralph Lauren jumper to fit me.  Well, this is actually a mens one.  I haven’t tried the ladies RL before but I’m assuming it wouldn’t fit me at all and I am not sure whether they have a plus size line in the UK but I always buy my polos and v neck jumpers from the mens section and no one can tell at all.  This one is a pastel pink with a light blue logo on it and I’m wearing a light pink Primark scarf around my neck.

For my bottoms, I’m wearing my trusty jeggings from ASOS.  We all know how much I love these so I’ll not go into too much detail, except to say that if you’re thinking these are looking a little big, they are! I’ve just ordered the next size down and they’re a much better fit now.

My watch is the beautiful Classic Trinity from Daniel Wellington.  I adore these watches because they’re so effortlessly chic and easy to wear.  The quality is superb and they’re not badly priced at all.  I bought Mr WLL one for his birthday and he hasn’t taken it off since he opened it!

My bag is by Juicy Couture and I bought it many years ago when I was about 16 and went to Manchester for the day to see The Pogues play live.  My dad is a huge fan of them and I’ve grown up listening to lots of Irish music over the years.

I’ve been into these cutesy half up half down hair styles for a few months now.  I remember wearing my hair like this as a kid and I’m quite enjoying it now, if only as a way to get my hair out of my face as I grow my fringe out!

Last but not least, I’m wearing these amazingly comfortable Michael Kors flats.  They are well worth the investment, trust me; like walking on clouds!

I have a weird guilty love for Pink…I pretend I don't like it but in fact I do believe it is my favourite colour. I think because it's such a warming spring colour and I love spring. Loving the outfit and I love the lippy. I haven't tried a melted lipstick but I do have the Lip Lavas from Makeup Revolution and I love those, I think they may be a Dupe for the Melted ones and I think they are pretty great. Lovely post as usual Laura. 🙂
