LIFESTYLE | The Future of Hair and Beauty Appointments

The Rock Pamper Scissors website is an absolutely ingenious invention!
Like the majority of people in the twenty-first century, I do as much as I
possibly can online, from paying bills, corresponding, shopping to booking
tickets and appointments, but I find myself getting easily frustrated at the
number of businesses who still have yet to offer such online facilities.

Booking appointments online is an easy and time saving process with the
added benefits of allowing you to choose a date and time that works around you.
This is where Rock Pamper Scissors is in its element because it has designed a
concept that allows you to book all of your hair and beauty appointments at the
click of a button, at a time and date to suit you.

With a modern but extremely straightforward website, booking an
appointment has never been easier. You decide the location and the service you
require and the website does the rest for you. The obvious effort that has gone
into this website is incredible.

All the information that you need and more is included so when you click
on any of the salons you are immediately given a history and background to the
business, a list of the stylists that work there, a no-nonsense price list and
a services breakdown. There is also the opportunity to search for those salons
offering discounts for first time customers, as well as students, along with a
dedicated wedding search facility.

The personal photos are what really distinguishes Rock Pamper Scissors, and gives it its uniqueness, because there is a search
facility that allows you access the photos of hairstyles on real people, not
photoshopped models, and it’s even possible to book an appointment based
completely on the cut you like in one of these photos! You can also take
pictures of your own style and post them to the relevant salon to show the work
you’ve had done, allowing others to see the results for themselves as they make
their own choices.

Within just a few seconds, I was able to find the top three best deals
London hairdressers and beauty salons via a simple search:

-Michael Barnes

-The Covent Garden Salon

At the moment you pay for all the services at your selected salon, but
the creators are working towards online payments which will make the whole
process complete. The only downside is that this service is currently only
offered in London, Manchester and Leeds, but it’s only a matter of time before
the idea catches on and becomes available nationally. There will then come a
point soon where people will wonder how we ever managed without such a service!

Sounds like a good idea. I tried to book a hairdressers in London last year and it was definitely easier to book than it is at home in Cardiff. Lots of places offered online bookings. Lot more expensive though!

I am sure in the future literally everything will be online! At the moment I would rather just book it myself on the phone or in person, less chance of something going wrong
