Skin Republic Collagen Infusion Face Mask Sheet

OMG if you haven’t tried the Skin Republic Collagen Infusion then you NEED to.

Skin Republic make lots of different masks but the only one that I’ve tried out is the Collagen Infusion anti ageing mask.  I have to say that it is hands down the most effective sheet mask that I’ve ever tried and has made a noticeable difference to my skin in terms of how hydrated it feels and how youthful it looks.

I’ve had a pretty tough few weeks and quite honestly, I’m exhausted.  I visited my cousin earlier this week after she’d had some sad news and I took my signature spaghetti bolognese, a bottle of prosecco and a couple of these masks along with me to help her to relax a little and for us to chill out together.

We started by cleansing our faces and patting our skin dry with a towel. We then removed the sheet mask from its packaging, unfolded it and aligned it up on our faces.  So simple.  This is the kind of product thats fool proof.

The mask itself is very well soaked in the hydrating serum solution, not to the point where any product would drip from the mask but where it is very well soaked.  The mask stays on your face after you’ve applied it so you can move about the house as usual without worry that its going to flop off.  We relaxed on the sofa more than we moved around but it did stay put for the whole time and didn’t slip around on the skin.

The mask feels so cooling and soothing the instant that it is applied to the skin.  If you’re using it after a hot day in the sun, it’ll certainly be a treat.

We left the mask on for about 20 minutes before easily removing it and then massaging the remaining serum into our skin.  The serum leaves what I would describe as a cooling film on the skin.  It has a light tackiness to it but the surface of the skin feels smooth and looks plumped.  By morning, my skin felt softer than it had in years.

The Collagen Infusion mask contains 3 key ingredients; Collagen, Elastin and Vitamin E and you can read all about their benefits here.  Essentially, this mask is designed to promote firmer, younger looking skin with improved elasticity and smoothed fine lines and wrinkles.  While I don’t think I’ve used it frequently enough to notice longterm effects, I can certainly say that it made my skin look a lot more youthful, plumped up and hydrated.

You can check out the full range of Skin Republic products on their website and this mask is available to buy from Superdrug, The Hut, Mankind, Beauty Expert and HQ Hair.

Oh it sounds lovely. I've not used a sheet mask in ages – I'll look out for this next time I'm shopping and treat myself before the MAD Blog Awards.
