Last week I used up the last of my new Sugar Crush Body Scrub (review here) that I got for Christmas. I’ll save my final thoughts on it for my next empties post but I think it’s safe to say that I was gutted when I got to the bottom of the pot. Thankfully, Mr WLL had also got me my long standing favourite Soap and Glory body exfoliator, The Breakfast Scrub, for Christmas too so when I got in the bath tonight to scrub off the remaining tan on my skin, I was really looking forward to opening the pot.
The Breakfast Scrub is the most delicious, comforting smelling body scrub ever. It literally smells like maple syrup in hot porridge. It’s AMAZING. Not only does it smell great, but it is a high performer too. Containing golden sugar scrubbing particles, natural organic cupuacu bio scrubs and gentle oatmeal grains, this scrub mixes natural body exfoliators with banana, almond and honey extracts, glycerin and shea butter to create an abrasive scrub that works hard to remove dead skin whilst conditioning and softening the skin and leaving it smelling great.
It has a very thick consistency and takes some work to get it moving on the skin. I tend to soak in the bath first and then let most of the water out before rubbing this on my skin in circular motions to really make the most of it. It does an amazing job of getting rid of any dead skin and scaly, dry legs! I absolutely love it and would repurchase it in a heartbeat!
