Soap and Glory WONDITIONER Hair Mask Review

Soap and Glory Wonditioner

Whenever I travel anywhere, regardless of whether its for one night or 14, I take it as an opportunity to pamper myself from head to toe.  It enables me to try new things for work, really up the ante on my self care and especially where my hair is concerned, it helps me to replenish and revive it, especially after a day in the sun, chlorine and salty air.

My hair is colour treated and I wear gorgeous Remi Cachet by HJ Extensions hair extensions so naturally they take a little more looking after too.

Just before my holiday to Mexico, Soap and Glory sent over a couple of their haircare products for me to try out and after  giving them a quick trial run, I knew that it was the WONDITIONER that I’d be taking with me to nourish my hair after a day in the Mexican sunshine.

Soap and Glory Wonditioner Review

The Soap and Glory WONDITIONER is a hair mask that’s enriched with mineral-rich pink clay, shea butter, cocoa butter and argan oil to deeply condition the hair.

This mask is suitable for all hair types from dry to damaged and oil.  I have oily roots and dry ends so a lot of hair masks that I use can only be placed on the mid-lengths and ends in my hair as they tend to make my hair feel more oily and get greasy more quickly than they would do with regular shampooing and conditioning alone.  However the WONDITIONER is different as it doesn’t weigh my hair down at all, so I have found that I can apply it from root to tip; perhaps its due to the clay within the formula, I don’t know!  The hair mask is really thick in texture, again that’s probably because of the clay, so it stays in my hair easily while I’m shaving, exfoliating and everything else I do in the shower or bath, without running everywhere and getting in my eyes.  Yet after leaving it on my locks for 5 minutes, it washes out easily; the dream!

Its important to note that I wouldn’t apply it from root to tip should I have a fresh set of hair extensions in as it may encourage them to slide out.  At the time of testing this intensive hair mask out, I had hardly any left in as I was due a new set so I wasn’t too concerned about them sliding.  If truth be told, I don’t think that the hair mask had any adverse effect on my hair extensions but I wouldn’t want to recommend using it to anyone with extensions in this way just in case.

While I was on holiday, I used it every single night in place of my conditioner, even though you’re only supposed to use it once a week!  I have used up the full tub now and would definitely but it again should I run out of hair masks to use as I love the results that much!

The nourishing results were evident from the first use.  My hair detangled so easily, blow dried smoothly, felt beautifully soft and looked gorgeous!

The WONDITIONER has the signature Soap and Glory ORIGINAL PINK fragrance which isn’t actually my favourite one that they do; I much prefer the Sugar Crush and Breakfast Scrub scents but I know that the original scent is hugely popular.

This hair mask is free from sulphates and parabens, plus it is vegan and cruelty free.  It comes in a HUGE tub like my favourite Sugar Crush Body Scrub which makes it great value for money as you get so many uses out of it and you can get right to the bottom of the tub.  Sometimes with squeezy bottles, you’re left with a little left over product inside the tube but not with this beauty!

It is available to buy here from Boots both online and in store.
