This weekend I finally got to wear my new sandals by Clarks as the weather began to clear up. True to form, it has been back to snowing today so I’ll have to wait a little longer to wear these again but I thought I’d share them with you anyway to get you in the mood for your summer wardrobe.
These sandals are the Silky Smooth Natural Leather Sandals from Clarks. They tick all the right boxes for me. For a start, they’re a wedge which not only is the most on trend style of heel to wear during the spring and summer but they’re easy to walk in too as they’re sturdy underfoot. I was surprised at how ridiculously comfortable these sandals are too. They have Clarks’ Softwear cushioning underfoot which really does make these shoes super comfortable to wear and walk in, even after a couple of hours. The design of the sandals is perfect for the warmer months, as they hold your feet in securely whilst still revealing your toes and feet. With a mix of raw edged natural leather and woven and metal trimmings combined with cut out detailing, these sandals are really eye catching and look modern and on trend. They zip up at the back so they hold the ankle securely and they’re a very comfortable fit, they don’t nip, dig into my skin or rub.
I’ve worn them in the above photo with a pretty girlie dress but they could easily be worn with a more edgy outfit. I love accessories like these that are versatile as they can be worn with so many different outfits. I can’t wait until the weather warms up and stays warm so that I can crack these out with the new additions to my spring wardrobe!
The Silky Smooth sandals are also available in a dark brown leather but I chose the natural leather as nude shoes help to elongate the leg and for a short girl like me, I will try anything to make my legs look that little bit longer! The natural colour looks great against a tan too.
The sandals are available in a standard width in sizes 3 to 8, including half sizes which is great for me as I’m in between sizes and not many shops offer a half size.
These shoes are available on the Clarks website for £59.99.
Oh and the dress I’m wearing in the photo above will be in its own outfit post very soon!
