Top 5 Tote Bags from House of Fraser

When summer rolls around, I love switching out my things into a tote bag.  Smaller sizes are fabulous for afternoons out that roll into the evening and the bigger sizes are perfect for days when you’re heading to the beach, out for a picnic or travelling.

Last week, I was in House of Fraser in the Metrocentre for a Clarins event when I spotted so many beautiful tote bags, many of which were currently on sale.  Never one to miss out on a bargain, I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to share my favourites with you, especially while some are at a discount!

Top of my wishlist has to be the Michael Kors Selma Navy Tote Bag not just because of the sturdy shape and robust saffiano leather but lets face it, the navy and gold hardware combination was always going to be a winner for me.

In total colour contrast, the Michael Kors Portia Pink Shoulder Tote Bag is giving me serious heart eyed emojis.  Pale pink with rose gold hardware?  Yes please!  This bag is girlie, feminine and classy.  Perfect for pairing with a summer dress.

Rose gold hardware is definitely catching my eye at the moment and I think the detail on the Ted Baker Floriya Large Blue Floral Tote Bag suits the girlie floral design beautifully.  This tote bag is perfect whether you’re heading down to the pool or beach on holiday or going out shopping at home.  Plus it comes with a detached pouch inside which can be used to store makeup and smaller bits to keep them together inside the bag or you can take it out and use it as a separate clutch bag.

Speaking of travel, the Lauren Ralph Lauren Bainbridge Black Large Tote Bag would make the most perfect hand luggage bag because its strong, durable and wont show up every scuff or mark.  It really reminds me of those Longchamp bags that a lot of people have for travel.  I like that this one combines black with brown tan which makes pairing shoes with the bag so much easier.
The last of my top 5 tote bags is so beautiful, I’m tempted to place an order right now!  The Coccinelle Ring Tan Tote Bag is the epitome of chic, fashionable stye.  It would be as perfect in the office as it would be for a day out with the girls.  I love the light tan as it will compliment so many of my summertime outfits.

There are so many more tote bags on the House of Fraser website that I could see suiting my summer wardrobe perfectly but these are my five current favourites!  I’d love to know what yours are in the comments.

What is your favourite handbag style?  Which of my top 5 do you like the most?

Great choices! The tan Coccinelle is my favourite of your selection. I love a tote, but I'm quite particular about the detail! I like it to be small-medium size and have an optional shoulder strap so I can wear it cross-body if I need hands-free. Style-wise I like the winged or satchel styles. I also like the top handles to drop down to the side instead of being fixed upwards, just my personal preference but I think drop-down top handles look more elegant and somehow younger than fixed ones. I have just bought an Aspinal Mini Marylebone tote – some of the colours are currently on sale. Some have fixed handles, some don't. I managed to find a drop-handle version in the sale in smooth silver colourway I wanted. In a dream world, I'd have a Valentino Rockstud tote, but y'know… OMG THE PRICE! 🙂 Love your posts, fashions and makeup finds! xx

I still have to have a bag that resembles a small holdall to hold all the things Pickle needs in the day, but would love the Michael Kors one for a special, child free occasion! Lovely selection. Kaz x
