FRAMPTON MARSH
Frampton Marsh is a nature reserve that is entirely surrounded by public footpaths. This location is perfect for walkers and it is also ideal if you want to go sightseeing too. There are plenty of benches if you decide that the walk is too long and they all overlook the freshwater landscape. With plenty of scenic views and close-up encounters with birds and other wildlife, it’s safe to say that you won’t find anything else quite like it.
CLEETHORPES BOATING LAKE
The Cleethorpes Boating Lake offers plenty of things to do. You have the rowing boats, and even a sandpit for some of the younger kids. There is also a playground that is shipwreck-themed and a paddling area too. The best thing about this location is that there are plenty of cafes dotted around and they even give you the chance to look out onto the ABP Observatory, which is a major viewpoint in the area.
OLD HALL
This is the hidden gem of Lincolnshire. The attraction is home to various events and they are all hosted throughout the year. It is a late medieval home that is full of history. The house has a grand hall and it even has a medieval kitchen too. If you are brave enough, then you can walk down the ghost corridor, which is said to house various spirits.
BELTON HOUSE
Belton House is Grade I listed, and it is surrounded by a ton of formal gardens. There is also a large woodland park too. There you will see plenty of deer and it is owned by the National Trust. It was established in the 17th century and the house boasts its own adventure playground. There are a huge range of gardens, shops and even restaurants. LINCOLN CATHEDRAL
Lincoln Cathedral has been continually described as being one of the finest gothic buildings around. There is plenty of information available regarding the history, the activities that are taking place and even what they have planned for the future. As if that wasn’t enough, you also get the chance to try and find the Lincoln Imp too. This is hiding in the walls of the cathedral and there are plenty of guides who are able to take you around too, so it is important that you keep that in mind.
