WhatLauraDid: Week 26

This week in photos, Top Row: my latest purchases… haul to follow next week, my Metro Centre shopping outfit, our first furniture buying trip to Ikea, dresses I’ll be Ebaying soon.  Bottom Row: two gorgeous dresses from AX Paris, an outfit I wore this week, Gucci delivery and lots of body moisturisers I was sorting through this week

This week I bought flat pack furniture for the first time.  I’ve been to Ikea in the past but usually when we buy furniture its the kind thats already assembled, delivered and installed all by lovely men in a van… So you can imagine the carry on I had pushing a huge trolley around Ikea with Mr WLL,  trying to negotiate the isles with one isle going one way and the other in the opposite direction and loading boxes upon boxes onto our trollies and that was before we attempted to get them into the car.  After much stress, I can report that I am alive and well, I haven’t put my back out and although the furniture is still in its boxes, they are safety in the house.

Earlier in the week I tweeted and asked if anyone had any requests for posts; a skin care routine and makeup tutorials were popular so I will get round to those as soon as possible.  Do any of you have any more requests?

This week on WhatLauraLoves, there has been quite an even mix of beauty and fashion.  I started the week with a review of a gorgeous Barbie pink blusher that I discovered when I had a £5 off voucher in Boots, the No7 Natural Blush in Candy Pink and I also picked up a bottle of Lady Million by Paco Rabanne at the same time which I reviewed for you this week too.  I’m not jumping for joy over it but many of you seem to love it!

I posted two hair care reviews this week, the first on an Italian brand I’ve recently discovered called Davines and I reviewed a couple of their products from their DEDE range and the second review was of a brand I know well and love, Klorane.  This weeks post was about their dry shampoo with nettle which is fantastic for oily hair.

If you like reading about lots of products in one go, rather than a specific product at a time, then you’ll like my Empties post.  This is my second one so far and I’ll probably be posting one every couple of weeks depending on how quickly I get through my existing products.  I’ve used up lots of Decleor minis this week but I’ve just thrown out the tubes as I have the full sized versions so I’ll review those separately, but still expect another Empties post in the next couple of weeks!

It wouldn’t be a week on my blog without a WhatLauraWore outfit post and I hope you love this weeks.  I adore my new scarf but there’s only so many things I can wear it with.  Do you have any suggestions?

Hope you’ve all had a good week, stay beautiful.
