|Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa|
I can’t believe September is here already. This time next year I’ll be on my way to my hen week in Zante which promises to be WILD but it’s pretty frightening how quickly the months are flying by. August has definitely been the month of pampering for me as I have just got back from my third spa weekend in a row. This week I was at the Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa, last week Bannatynes Spa and the week before the Marriott. I feel well and truly pampered out!
At the Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa I enjoyed a detoxing oil and salt scrub which was so relaxing despite being very abrasive and getting rid of all of my dry skin. I really needed it see as though I’ve ran out of two of my abrasive body scrubs from Soap and Glory which featured in this weeks Empties post, along with some Decleor skincare and a TIGI super strength conditioner called the S Factor “Serious Conditioner” and serious it most certainly is.
I’ve been working really early shifts all this week too which I’m not a fan of as I’m certainly not a morning person. My lack of time in the morning has meant I’ve lent heavily on Batiste’s Fresh dry shampoo to revive and freshen up my hair this week. Since I haven’t had much time to chill and pamper during the week, I was also really thankful to OPI’s RapiDry Top Coat which kept my Elephantastic Pink nails chip free all week.
I still of course had time for a WhatLauraWore fashion post this week which came in the form of the red chain print skater dress from AX Paris which is also available as a playsuit. Speaking of fashion, I took part in an Evans Blogger Style Challenge recently and they’ve put the photos up on their website for everyone to click ‘LIKE’ on their favourite. Whose styling of the dress do you prefer?
I’ve been lucky enough to receive some lovely packages in the post this week of items to review for you all and these will be featured on here very shortly. I’ve also got some Lauren’s Way false tan which I’m looking forward to trying out. As always, a perfect streak free application is important to me and this week I shared with you my top tips on how to achieve the perfect false tan at home– I hope it’s a good read!
Hope you’re all well, have a great week.
