In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Mr WLL and I spent every moment we could together enjoying our last days as fiancé and fiancée. Last year he was working A LOT so we didn’t get the chance to go on as many days out as we usually like to throughout the year so when he had some time off before the wedding we really jumped at the chance.
We’re quite partial to a day out in the countryside and we often like to go on little adventures in the car, just driving until we find somewhere we’d like to go. Our travels on this day took us up to Jedburgh where we visited the Jedburgh Castle Jail and Museum before having lunch in a little country pub. We both love visiting old gaols and prison museums but me especially as I have a bachelor of science degree in Criminology and used to work in a prison. Now there’s something about me that I bet you never thought you’d read. I know I don’t often talk about education and work on here but there is more to me than make up and clothes!
The outfit that I wore focused on layering animal print with key basics in my wardrobe. My cardigan is the animal print boyfriend cardigan from Fashion World. I’ve worn this so many times since I got it at the start of the year and I can’t see me retiring it anytime soon. It is so lightweight but still keeps me warm which is perfect for the British weather and I love the print- animal print but with muted colours; it isn’t too in your face.
I’m wearing my two favourite basic pieces that I own underneath my cardigan and that’s my denim look knitted leggings from New Look which are so comfortable and a great colour that really mimic real skinny jeans and my black swing vest from ASOS. I cannot rave about this vest enough as it is a lovely light, stretchy material that feels super comfortable to wear and it comes down low enough that it covers my bottom so it is perfect to wear with leggings.
