In today’s post, I am going to show you how I add print to everyday work wear. This kind of outfit is perfect for if you’re working in a call centre, office or in a retail store.
I’m wearing an all black outfit made up of a cami and some tapered trousers and then I’ve layered over the top the Print Boyfriend Cardigan in Animal Print from Fashion World. This is a beautifully soft, light weight cardigan that makes a great layering piece. It is long sleeved with ribbed detailing to the cuffs and hem. Since the weather is getting warmer, I prefer to wear this worn open however it looks equally great buttoned up. Also available in a colour block design and so many plain colours- black, bright blue, coral, grey marl, raspberry pink and wine, it makes a great addition to your work wear wardrobe as well as to your casual wear. I’ve been enjoying wearing this layered over a vest top and jeggings at weekends.
The animal print cardigan is a subtle way to add print into your wardrobe as it is non offensive when worn in this way and still suitable for the office. I also added a leopard print scarf that I got at a Psyche event recently. They have some fabulous scarves in stock that make great layering and casual pieces and many of them are lightweight so perfect for the spring and summer. After looking around their store and checking out there website, I would definitely recommend them if you’re looking for mid range designer pieces that are expertly sourced to update your wardrobe for the warmer months. Personally, I’m swooning over the Michael Kors bags and Mr WLL is a sucker for their Hugo Boss polo tops to wear with his jeans when he’s not working.
For my accessories, I picked out some of the lighter colours in the cardigan and paired a light coloured bag and shoes with my outfit. For a more casual look, I would simply swap the trousers I’m wearing for jeans and everything would still go equally as well.
