Today I thought I’d share with you one of the newest pieces in my wardrobe, this gorgeous animal print Chiffon Skirt Two In One Dress from the Curve collection at AX Paris. This is the first time I’ve worn anything from AX Paris Curve and I’m really impressed with them. I’ve got a post coming up where I talk about the Curve line and show you my top picks from the range. For now though, here is the outfit I wore on Saturday night. I went out for my friends birthday and she decided upon a bright colours theme at the last minute. Since I already had this dress to wear and couldn’t wait to wear it, I decided to accessorise with bright jewellery and a Barbie pink clutch bag. The jewellery and shoes I’m wearing were featured in my latest Primark haul; I was gutted when I was half way there and realised I’d forgotten to put my new ring on!

I’m so impressed with this dress from AX Paris, they really have created a plus size range that is cut for a true plus size figure. I’ve always loved the look of a feminine floaty skirt with a little black vest top but thought that if I wore them as separates then the outfit would be too bulky on my frame, this piece is great because it is a dress but gives the illusion of a two piece. The black fitted sleeveless top slims down the figure and shows off your curves, the thick straps balance out your figure, particularly if you have an ample bust, while the attached animal print chiffon skirt skims over the tummy, hips and bum area to hide a multitude of sins. It is a great length too, I’m 5ft 5″ and find that because of my stomach pulling everything upwards, dresses tend to be shorter on me, even though I’m only an average height but this dress is a perfect length. Comparing dresses from the standard line to the plus line, it would seem that AX Paris have paid particular attention to the length of the garments and made them longer to accommodate a curvy figure. I’m not particularly lucky in the chest department but the cut of this dress is really generous, particularly in the bust area so those curvy girls with a larger chest will have ample room. I’d say that this particular dress was true to size, if a little big so if you’re looking to order it then I’d recommend going for your usual size rather than sizing up or down. Admittedly, I was going on a themed night out so I’d probably not style it with pink accessories in the future, I’d probably wear bright silver jewellery with the same heels. I like my arms but if you weren’t a fan of yours you could paid this with a little black shrug.
