I’m totally guilty of pulling out super old clothes from my wardrobe in todays post but sometimes, the oldies are the goodies. Like this Evans heart printed cropped cardigan. I’ve had it for YEARS, it may have even been a part of the Beth Ditto collection many years ago, but I love it. So comfortable and easy to wear. I love pairing it with a plain black vest top which makes it so easy to wear and ensures it doesn’t clash with any other prints or styles of tops.
In keeping with the heart theme, I’m wearing my Vivienne Westwood necklace. Its a little larger than the ones that are available now, at least that I can find online. I got this one for my 21st birthday from Cruise in Newcastle. I didn’t realise that they sold so many designer brands online, they have some GORGEOUS pieces and free delivery when you’ve spent a pretty penny so I’ll definitely be looking on there in the future when I’m fancying a new designer piece (preferably later rather than sooner as I’m attempting to save up to buy a house!).
The trousers I’m wearing are the heart print peg leg trousers from ASOS Curve. When I first bought these, they were black with white hearts but after washing them, the hearts became stone coloured which, although annoying, is good because it coordinates well with the stone and gold hearts in the cropped cardigan.
I love the peg legs from ASOS as they’re a gorgeous light jersey kind of material that feels so soft. They are so comfortable to wear, one could be forgiven for thinking that they were pyjama pants!
You might recognise this bag from my Michael Kors haul. This is the Saffiano Satchel in the colour Mandarin which is an orangey red and looks so pretty, especially for the summer. It was a past season when I bought it however there is a one that is very similar here. I’ve noticed that Michael Kors tend to change the hardware around quite often but the style is very similar between the one that I have and the one I’ve linked here.
My nail polish is the one in this post and I think that the red really helps to pull the outfit together with the red in my necklace and the red in my bag.
The sunglasses that I’m wearing are from Firmoo. They were gifted to me at the end of last summer but I must admit, I wouldn’t recommend them. Price wise, they’re very affordable so I wasn’t expecting miracles but in all honesty, they feel really cheap and I have better quality sunglasses that were a couple of pounds in Primark.
They are quite pretty with a brown lens, plastic tortoiseshell rectangular frames and gold coloured detail on the arms. They feel light weight and are reasonable comfortable to wear but when opening up the arms of the glasses, they feel very cheap. Not my cup of tea I’m afraid but I thought I’d let you know about them in case you wanted to try them out for yourself, each to their own 🙂
Onto something that I do love though and that’s these flip flops with a lush big heart on them. I got these in Garage shoes last year but they have the exact same ones on ASOS this year. These are incredibly comfortable because the sole feels quite spongy yet still supportive and don’t rub my feet at all. I wore them all last summer and have bought a new pair as well as a white and black pair to wear this summer too.
